Loved the first episode! I am so excited to have a good canon divergence of Dracula, it was so fun to listen and be like, hey this isn't exactly the book, it's just close enough to it that I feel comfortable only to get the rug pulled out from under me in the best way XD I am loving our epic Mina! And such good sound design and acting and writing and everything with everyone!

Needless to say, as the series goes forward things will diverge further and further from the book's way of unspooling the plot. The ripples of change will accumulate and compound. But the hope is that it always feel like a new wrinkle on the material of the novel, like a remix of elements that are all in there, whether in the text or in the spirit of the original.
And yes, we love our Mina and what the incredible Evangeline Young does with her. 🖤 And since the first episode is focused away from Mina, we haven't seen that much of her yet, but it's coming! We've only seen about the first two gears of what Evangeline does with the character!
