For @evanstan-daily Evanstan Week day 3 "Dodger"
Sebastian was very nervous. He would be meeting Chris's dog Dodger for the first time today, and he was afraid the dog might not like him. He knew how important Dodger was to Chris, and Sebastian had the feeling it was dog first, boyfriend second. Not that Sebastian could fault Chris for that. Dodger had clearly been a very good companion for him and he was very adorable on all the videos and photos Chris shared. So Sebastian needed to make a good impression.
He arrived at Chris's house and parked his car. Chris opened the door and was smiling widely at Sebastian. He greeted him with a hug and then a kiss. Sebastian loved it. He never got over the thrill of being with Chris.
"Are you ready?" Chris asked.
"I think so," Sebastian said. "Are you?"
"I mean, I am a little nervous. My two favorite boys are meeting each other today," Chris said.
"So I am one of your favorite boys?" Sebastian grinned.
Chris kissed him. "Of course you are."
Sebastian's cheeks flushed.
"Okay let's go," Chris said. He opened the door and Dodger ran up to them.
Sebastian got down on his knees and carefully held out his hand to Dodger. Dodger sniffed it curiosly. Then he obviously decided Sebastian passed his test because he began to wag his tail excitedly and began to lick Sebastian face. Sebastian started to pet him.
"I think we are going to get along great," he said to Chris.
Chris was a little teary-eyed and smiled. "I'm so happy," he said.
"Me too," Sebastian said with a smile.
He was glad Dodger liked him. Now he didn't need to worry about losing Chris and they could be a happy little family.
