Harmony was a bit embarrassed by the fact that she had hurt herself again. Which was only made worse by the fact that she had to come see Evan to make sure nothing was broken. “You know, we really need to stop meeting like this.” She joked, even though she was the one to blame here. “But in my defense, I swear that I was being careful. The nail just broke, which made me hit my finger. It’s the nail’s fault really. I should sue.” Harmony continued to joke through the pain. Although her finger was starting to bruise, and she was just hoping that it wasn’t broken.

“Do you know what I’ve decided I like about winter around here?” Harmony asked the man but didn’t leave the time for him to actually answer. “Someone snowplowed for me so when I woke up this morning my driveway was already clear.” She added as it had been a pleasant surprise to wake up to. “I am sure that it saved me at least an hour of my time. I am a weakling and I only own a shovel.”

“I swear, every year people forget how to handle the ice and snow.” Colton replied as he watched people wobbling around on the sidewalk. He had already witnessed a few people slide around and almost fall. “If it’s not slipping while walking it’s sliding on the ice while driving.” He added with a shake of his head. “It’s the same thing every year, but nobody ever seems to remember what they figured out the year before.”
