just finished watching invincible and now i'm thinking about if mark grayson and keith kogane ever met-

Keith: wait, let me get this right. so you're also half alien—specifically the alien race that's trying to conquer the known universe

Mark: yeah- kinda weird, actually. you sure you don't have any secret powers?

another thing i love about the series is the way they changed the hospital scene with mark and eve, when mark just wakes up

in the comics, it's like. a horny scene. we can tell it's a horny scene, even if it doesn't get anywhere. but in the series, they just... lay there, resting

and i cheered there because YEAAAAHHHYYH!!!!!! LET THEM RESTTTTT

plus, the sex scene (the almost sex scene lol) felt a lot more fullfilling after conquest's speech?????? because it was all about bonds and connection and longing. something something, sex as a metaphor, something something, conquest only starting to speak about loneliness once he sees how much eve and mark love each other, something something
