Even as your last remaining dream precariously dances upon the precipice of some long forgotten yesterday, feeling the pull of gravity onto the soul shattering rocks below of your next tomorrow.  Even as the darkness blots out all hope of ever again feeling the warmth of that place you once knew as the light.  Even as your weary soul has lost its vigor to lift your listless body out of bed.  Even as your faith has abandoned you in your time of desperation.  Even as you fear you’ve passed the point of no return.  Even now, I will ask but one favor of you. I’ll not request you face your every demon this day.  I’ll not proclaim you well and order you to pick up your mat and walk.  I ask only that you breathe and nothing more.  That’s it my friend, breathe, just breathe.  Then tomorrow if you’re feeling stronger, we’ll take one more step together.
