I have black virgin roots and bleached ends (which i just bleach bathed to remove pink, it's pretty light), and I want to go white/platinum blonde, I think I need to bleach both parts of my hair but idk how to go about it?

Hello! Bleach your roots first, using a low vol peroxide until they’re light, wash out etc as usual, then bleach bath the ends. 

Don’t try and do them together as they have different processing times. 

Always use the lowest volume peroxide as possible.

Hi I was just wondering if I would need to strip my hair of all box dyes before bleaching it? I have naturally dark brown almost black hair and am planning to bleach it for the first time, I don't think I have much build up of dyes as I've only coloured it (box dyes and hairdressers)about 4 times in like ten years the last being around a year and a half or maybe two ago, and if I did bleach it with removing the colour what would happen?

Hello :) Since you’ve only dyed it a few times, you should be ok, however starting with as even a base as possible is always the best idea, so if you know your hair is a box dye on the ends for example, strip it out before bleaching. I think you should be ok however, just be careful, follow the instructions on the bleach and keep an eye on the colours. If you’re bleaching to go blonde, think about getting an ash toner or a blonde coloured semi dye to go over the top to make sure your colour will be even and tonal.

If you are bleaching for a bright colour it depends on the colour as to how even your base needs to be.
