OH MY GOD I ACCIDENTALLY LEFTED OUT THE MIDDLE PART OF MY RANT LMAO
It was basically, the Chiaki manga just did generic expressions for Fuyuhiko and Peko which was a giant disservice to the rollercoasters of emotion Fuyuhiko was going though.
When Fuyuhiko discovered the Twilight Murder case, he was angry but also frustrated because he really didn’t know what was going on. During the trial, he was still angry but now he’s desperate to save Peko.
These are two different kind of angers that needed to be portrayed differently.
If you just copy and paste the same angry expression then it just becomes redundant.
I could also go into how Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko basically made the same expressions but I’m being nitpicky at that point
