It's one thing to overanalyze fiction, I mean, it's not real and usually meant to be interpreted by its audience - that's how entertainment works. But what the hell is this need to 'analyze', and I use the word loosely, real people, as in creators of said entertainment. I get that we want to feel closer to people who make the art we enjoy, especially if we aspire to make similar art. But I'm talking about the creepy stuff, like the implications that Steven Moffat is misogynistic or Benedict Cumberbatch is gay. I am sure there are many more examples of this behavior all across different fandoms, and I wish they were deviations, but they seem more common than they should be. In any case just goes to show, just coz everyone has an opinion, it doesn't mean every opinion is worth expounding upon.
