you can dry your eyes now. you don’t have to cry. you don’t have to suffer no more. you have lived your life. your presence was a present & you were appreciated. I’ll never forget what you have shown me, I’ll never forget the talks we had. You were thorough & stern... a lot like myself I might add. we handled shit right.. I could never be mad at that. you knew I was a brat & you accepted me for who I was. Your love ran deep even when you felt like you didn’t have what it took to love me. I was hard on you but you knew why & you accepted my challenges. Not once did you fail me even when you thought you did. You actually tried. I just want to take this time out to thank you for your patience & persistence with me. you are someone who I’ll hold close to forever. a real genuine soldier in my art of love & war .
