It amazes me, as black business owner, that black ppl really be taken aback by my prices. I am an interior and event decorator. Everything I do is w MY BARE HANDS. what do ppl expect to pay? Like this one girl. She hit me up to make her some name plates. One of my specialties and probably my biggest money maker (ppl love them). When I told her they start at $25 and go up depending on color scheme and amount of letters, she literally never replied. And I just don't understand how we as black ppl will shell out however much money a large brand charges us but when it comes to supporting our own ppl we side eyeing the prices. Do we think we're not as good as these big brands? If so, that goes way deeper than most of us can even understand.
