Derek: If Derek had learned something about anything about Beacon Hills, it was that something was always lurking around the next corner. If he had not seen it coming or expected a disaster to hit right on their way. Quite frankly he would have checked himself into some werewolf check out, every sign of trouble was too obvious for him to miss. When the screams had started, every cell in Derek's body alarmed him that something big and something bad was happening all around them, even if they couldn't quite see it yet. Derek, who instantly and instinctively stepped closer to Cora to keep her close, let his confusion to grew to his concerned features as his head snapped to the direction where the screams were sourcing from louder and louder. Then he met Maddison's gaze, with whom he had just paused his argument with due to the unknown wolf and the screams that had interrupted their little battle of sass and attitude. "What is going on?", he asked more from himself than from any of the other wolves in the circle as his brow arched at his own question. To be quite honest, his first instinct was to get Cora, Maddison and the third wolf he had literally just met ran into them to safety, out of the Carnival area but he really didn't have time for any of it. So Derek just looked at them, nodding at Cora who was probably thinking the same as he was. They needed to make sure everybody was safe, that Scott, Stiles, Isaac or any of the others weren't in danger. With that concern crossing his mind, he gave one more brief look at the wolves before he took his footfall towards the center of the carnival area and the abnormal storm.
Cora: If anything, the first word to come to Cora's mind when she thinks of carnival isn't "fun". A huge event like this would only call for danger and an unexpected turn of events. After experiencing a not so normal life, could you blame the girl for having a pessimistic mind? Cora wasn't surprise once the screams begun to shriek through the atmosphere, preparing herself to be expecting something like this to occur. She furrowed her brows together, wondering what could be happening before taking a step towards Derek. She followed his gaze, settling her eyes on the direction of the screams. "I don't know," her words were coarse and concise, flowing quietly from her lips as she directed her answer toward her older brother. Her chest rose and fell once she realized that she had been holding her breath this entire time. Returning her gaze back to Derek, she mouthed Stiles' name, hoping that Scott, Stiles, and the rest of the crew were not putting themselves in danger as they always seem to being doing. Taking a final small glance around the surrounding wolves, her legs began to travel along with Derek, hoping to find the source of the peril.
Derek: Derek gave a brief glance at his little sister, he did not miss the small movement her lips made with a name that fell silently from her lips. His lips pressed together in a small grunt that formed in his throat, he was becoming distressed knowing that the chances are nobody had been spared from trouble and trouble was always present in Beacon Hills. He begin to pace, and he began to leap faster steps the closer they came to the area that had cleared from most of the patrons due the storm that was abnormal and raging around them. Derek paused to look around, glancing over his shoulder to see Cora, Maddison and Elizabeth stopping on his lead. "What do you hear?", he asked them over his shoulder, "What can you sense?", he raised his voice to something close to hard and ordering There was no point in hiding what they all were from each other, likely they were all sensing each other just like he could sense them. He looked up at the sign that said 'Funhouse', the pulps no longer lighted up though and so his gaze fixed down at the entrance way that was now sealed from visitors. That was when he realized that something was going on in the Funhouse and that was just when he felt a jolt of pain shooting through his spine; a pain that he wasn't supposed to feel unless it was a full moon. Derek turned around in another second, the concern magnified to his features, twisted by the unraveling feeling rattling through him. "Wolfsbane.", but it was too late.
Cora: Cora's steps began as a constant pace, attempting to capture the details around her to form a conclusion, eyeing the lack of figures that would catch her eyes. Once Derek started pacing, Cora followed, keeping up his pace as if her legs were in sync with his. Anguish took over her as she started to worry that someone could be hurt already, making it too late. The signs of the storm was hard to ignore, only creating a hole feeling in the pit of her stomach. It was as if all the happiness that once was present there dispersed into profound sorrow and a calling for trouble. Cora came to a halt once her brother did, looking at him as she arched her brow. "Screams," she answered in a sardonic tone with a slight roll in her eyes. Sure, it wasn't the right time to be playing around, but she was aware that he could sense whatever she was sensing. Stepping in front of the funhouse, Cora pursed her lips together, her nose joyfully wiggle as she tries to discover any scent. Earlier, she was eager to go into the Fun House, wanting to experience the joy that everyone rambled on about, but now, the dull approach image it was providing only lured people away. The grave feeling hit Cora, snapping her head up once she felt discomfort run up her bones, placing control over them without her consent. An agonizing groan escaped her lips as the familiar feeling of turning scattered throughout her body. Once she heard the wolfsbane, it answered all her questions, causing her heart to race faster than it already was. "Derek?" the questioning call ran out of her throat, her eyes scrambling over to Derek as she depended on the directions he was to give.
Derek: It was too late, far too late, the wolves had wolfsbane running in their system like a toxic that asked no permission to invade in ever cell in their bodies. It was, in fact, toxic to them. At first it started with a pain that ran up and down through his spine and then causing a jolt of uncontrollable and savage, familiar feeling of power that could only lead to that one thing that wasn't supposed to happen to him anymore. Derek turned around to look at the other three in his company, his eyes shot only concern and agonizing pain that get trampling through him as he met Cora's gaze. His little sister depended on his guidance, the helpless question that rang in his name as it fell from her lips, it only made him realize just how unprepared he had been for this. He could tell the three wolves were running out of time, he knew what was going to happen but he had no idea what they could do about it. It was something close to helpless look he gave at Cora before, "We need to move.", he was barking orders, "Move move move.", he made an attempt to move pass Cora, Maddison and Elizabeth to lead them to somewhere where they could at least breath toxic free air. But like he knew, it was too late and he was stopped on his track by another, uncontrollable jolt of pain that arched his spine in pain and dropped him on his knees to the ground. A howl that he could not hold back sprang through the air, his eyes turning ice blue as he howled up to the sky with his sharp fangs pushing through his gums, his fingers stiffening in pain as a familiar set of nails grew to replace his human ones. It wasn't just pain that jolted his entire being, it was that animalistic and savage rage that he had not felt since finding his anchor.
Cora: Receiving the helpless look from Derek, Cora's shoulder sunk back, knowing that this was the unexpected. The growing idea of force and strength ran throughout Cora's body, urging her organs to release pain and discomfort. The control that Cora was losing to the wolfsbane forced her to bite the inside of her cheeks. For months, she learned to control herself when the full moon came about, leaning and holding onto an anchor, but at that moment, it was all lost. All her learning seemed to have been taken away from her, stealing her control from her own hands. It reminded her of that night of the full moon when she was in the vault after being stuck in there for three months with the insufficient lack of control. She felt her gums start to throb, her fangs finding their way to escape from her gums. Her hands went stiff as she felt her nail beds cry out in pain. Looking down at her hands, she spot the set of sharpened nails that grew. Cora was about to call out for her brother again, but abruptly stopped when she heard his voice which was louder than before, echoing through her ears.. Hanging onto every word he said, she tried to follow his directions. She tried to get her feet to move, but what her mind was telling her to do was against what her body was telling her to do. The contrast of it only created strife between the two sources. Sudden anger intensified within her, ignoring the other two companions next to her. The unawareness of the situation and the disability to gain control only added to the anger, quickening the process of Cora turning. Rage replaced her worrisome and confusion, feeding her the thought of wanting to attack and hurt. Her eyes glowed a bright yellow, enchanting her sight while figures appeared and disappeared in her sight-- a symptom of inhaling the wolfsbane. She snarled as her breathing grew deeper and deeper as she shifted, feeling the rage take complete control of her body.
Taylor: Cotton candy still in hand, Taylor walked through the carnival alone. The wind had picked up and she felt something strange in the atmosphere, something that made her skin crawl. So she had decided to investigate and find out what was really going on. She had started suspecting that Beacon Hills wasn't all it seemed on one of her first days there but had pushed it to the back of her mind. The last thing her or her family needed was for her to go digging into something that might not even be there. She couldn't avoid it anymore, however. Something was going down at the carnival and she had to find out what. She turned a corner and almost swore under her breath as she retreated hastily back behind a stall. Up ahead were two people, a man older than herself and a girl that looked vaguely familiar. Taylor couldn't see them that clearly, especially cowered behind a stall, but she could tell one important thing. Whoever the pair were, they were werewolves about to shift. Taylor had never seen a werewolf, she only knew of them from her father's lessons, but she knew enough to know that two werewolves turning in the middle of a crowded carnival was incredibly dangerous. She had to do something, and fast.
Kira: Leaving the game booth that she spent a good amount of money at, Kira found that she was enjoying herself more than she thought she would. Glancing around, there was a vibe in the air that she certainly didn't like. Kira couldn't put her finger on it, but it was certainly a feeling that she didn't like, leaving her skin crawling. Making her way down the section of booths, Kira knew that something bad was probably happening, being in Beacon Hills it's kind of expected. Turning the corner, she wrapped her arms around herself noticing that the wind had started picking up, something Kira was learning couldn't have been good. Stopping in her tracks, she noticed up ahead two people who were clearly werewolves who were about to shift. Normally she would have been afraid, but after dealing with Aiden it wasn't something Kira was afraid of. She had to get them out of there, shifting in the middle of a big crowd was just a bad idea and would cause a lot of trouble.
Derek: There was nothing Derek could do, there was nothing he could do to get them to some place where they would have been less threat to those few people who were still wandering aimlessly in the storm at the carnival area. The little he tried to do when he attempted to get them to anywhere they could be locked in to and breathe air that didn't turn them into a bunch of raging mad wild animals, was pointless. It seemed that whatever it was that was going on in the midst of the abnormally born storm, it only grew the affect of the wolfsbane that was dominating the air they breathed with every second they spend in front of the Fun House. The agonizing pain that he could not not to recognize had him on his knees, every sense he possessed heightening to everything around him just as to everything within him. He could hear the howling pain of the three other wolves with him and sense the way wolfsbane only forced them to shift and lose control, though, the red raging rage that begin to replace Derek's hold onto his anchor and to his own will and mind, didn't allow his mind to process any further than that. Once his savage howl had been released out to the storm, he could barely feel himself a human anymore, it was all about the animal that had now been let out of its cage. His head turn slowly as his ice blue eyes took his surrounding, his face turned into something that could not been recalled as a human anymore. He wanted to tear something apart, he wanted to tear everything apart, including the two heartbeats he could now caught from somewhere near by.
Cora: The snarls from the other wolves around them rang through Cora's ears, beating against her ear drums. She glanced at them in the corner of her eyes, keenly watching them for a few seconds before looking back at her older brother. The part of her which wanted to think straight prayed on some guidance, a way to snap herself out of this trance. The quickening wind beat against her skin, sending the mist of the wolfsbane through her nose. The source of the rage lingered in the atmosphere and the only solution present was to get away. Anchor, Cora, anchor, she thought to herself. She thought of what she was taught and how to hold onto something that could keep her from doing anything she would regret. However, that grasp of the anchor was taken away as soon as she spotted a figure in the distant. She balled up her fists, feeling the sharp nails rip through the palm of her hands. Wrath encouraged her to set her attention on the figure, listening to the heartbeat that pulsed through her ears. Without a second thought, Cora made her way towards the shadowed figure, her eyes adjusting to the sight, attempting to find the outline of the person.
Taylor: Taylor was busy trying to formulate a plan when she heard footsteps just across from her. Through the darkness she could see a girl emerge, standing right in the sight line of the werewolves. As soon as Taylor saw the girl she felt something strange. Not uncomfortable, like the feeling the storm was giving her, but rather an odd sense of familiarity. It was the same feeling Taylor felt whenever she was in the presence of her father, her brother or any other kitsune. If she hadn't been so terrified of making a sound, Taylor would have gasped. Another kistune in Beacon Hills? Taylor almost couldn't believe it. Of all the towns in all of America that her father had moved them to, it had to be one with a kitsune already living there. It must have been fate. Taylor stole a quick glance back at the werewolves and her eyes widened as soon as she realised that one of the werewolves, the girl, as racing towards them with a murderous look on her already transformed face. Taylor looked towards the other kitsune who hadn't so much as moved yet, if one of them didn't so something soon Taylor wouldn't have to worry about another kitsune in town. She searched the stall, hoping to find any source of power. Luckily there was extension cord that was providing electricity to the stall's equipment. Taylor unplugged the cord and placed her hand over the now empty socket, absorbing as much energy as she could hold from the power system and desperately hoping she wouldn't be too late.
Derek: Snarls, heavy out breathed growls passed through Derek's gritted teeth as the overwhelming, body shifting pain had been finally replaced by the savage and animlistic rage that had him only to wish to tear something apart. The little bit of his humanity that he had been holding onto with every breath he took was gone, there was nothing but animal in him and it wanted to act exactly like one. The ice blue eyes lifted up to see his surrounding, lusting to find something that he could take up all his rage on. His nose wrinkling, his ears picking up on every heartbeat that he could hear nearby. On the back of his mind he registered that he should have done something about his little sister who was charging towards the girl who had been unfortunate enough to walk into scene with four wolves shifting out of control, but he didn't and he couldn't even find himself wanting to. The former alpha wolf got up from his knees, his handsome, raw features had adapted the wolf form that had his teeth bared out, hair growing and eyes glowing cold blue. He watched Cora who followed the running girl, then at Maddison and Elizabeth before he charged after Cora with a raging growl, the other two wolves finding themselves charging towards the other girl in the scene.
Cora: The facial features implanted on Cora’s face screamed savage and lust for violence. Her normal, pale complexion was replaced with a rigid surface, portraying an animal. As if it was even possible, more hair stuck onto her face, blending in with her hair that fell pass her shoulders. Her mouth was widened, teeth dangling as they ached to insert themselves into flesh. Her humanity was ripped apart, replaced with the need to kill for pleasure. It was the idea of ripping bodies apart into shreds for her predatory pleasure that allowed her to continue making her way towards the figure. With the scent of the female getting closer, Cora sped up, her snarls increasing in heaviness and loudness as the urge to kill came closer to her. As she inched closer, Cora came to a stop, extending her arms to the side as she released her hands, showing off her nails that were ready to imprint into the skin covering a heart. With the girls’ heartbeats pumping and pumping within her ears, encouraging her to jump onto the girl immediately, Cora let out a loud growl, hinting at her emergence towards her within the next milliseconds.
Taylor: "Get back!" Taylor shouted, leaping forward and putting herself between the incoming werewolf and the other kitsune. She swept her hand out, sending her foxfire out into a straight line in front of her and hoping that the wall of flames she had created would keep the werewolf away from the two of them. Werewolves, she corrected herself as she saw three more racing towards them with faces filled with as much primal rage as the girl in front of her. The barrier she'd made should hold them back, in theory, but she wasn't entirely sure if crazed werewolves would be willing to jump through fire to get their prey or if their survival instincts would force them to stop. The more Taylor looked athe werewolf directly in front of her, the more familiar she appeared. Even with the girl's inhuman transformation, Taylor could still recognise her. She was the girl that she had argued with about the merits of pranks on April Fool's Day. Cora, she could remember her name being. Cora was a local, she knew that much, which meant these werewolves weren't just passing through. They were most likely local too. Which meant, most frighteningly of all, there was probably more. "Got any ideas about what to do with them?" she ask the girl behind. "Because I don't know how long this will keep them from slashing us to pieces"
------------------------ scene moving to the school ------------------------
Allison: Allison had no idea what she was really running into after received a text from Kira telling her it was urgent and to come to the school. She hated that she had to leave Lydia behind, knowing it wasn't safe but Kira's message seemed life-threatening. The huntress made her way towards the school as quick as she could, feeling the edge of the daggers hidden in her shoes rubbing against her skin through the material of her socks. Within good time of reaching the school, she pulled them out, twisting them in her hands to keep them concealed in case anyone unknown to what she truly was were around but she stayed alert. The fire wasn't hard to miss; both the smell and the sight of it. Allison hunter insists kicked in, the daggers rolling on her fingers as she brought them up defensively, her feet still carrying her quickly towards the destination she willed to go. The first people Allison that saw were the transformed Derek and Cora, coming in from their side before moving herself away from them as she saw Kira and a girl she had no idea about. "What the hell happened?!" She practically yelled the closer she got, her eyes focused on Derek and Cora. Her fingers grasped the daggers tighter, her nails practically almost digging into her skin as she looked between them. If worst came to worst then Allison was going to need to defend herself but the thought of doing it against Derek and Cora wasn't something she like dwelling on.
Derek: The events of the night had escalated quickly, the four werewolves against the two kitsunes, nothing was even about the setting when it came down to a fight matter of life and death. Anyhow, the kitsunes had been able to be clever, they had been able to lure the four wolves out of the carnival area and to the school where they fought for their lives and to keep the wolves from running to somewhere where they would be able to do even more damage they had already done. The fight was raging hot, even with a help of one hunter joining the two girls that had been successful to keep the werewolves from tearing them apart. And then someone else joined them, just as when Cora and Derek were about to make another attack, a voice yelled out and interrupted the whole chaotic scene for a split of a second, at least for Derek. His head snapped to look at the source of the voice, and he indeed recognized the girl the blind second he saw her. Derek's rage was blinding hot behind his ice blue hues that were staring right at Allison, and of course, looking at the young Argent only fueling his burning rage and the urge to take it out on anyone at his sight. He forgot about the kitsune that he had been about to lunge at and he turned around, leaving the other wolf to make an attack of their own. His notion took an entire change of direction, he literally charged towards the young huntress. There was nothing humane in his eyes or in the way all his primal rage and long hidden urge to take his vengeance were controlling every bone in his body. His claws were sharp and out bared, ready to slash her throat till she'd bleed to death right before his eyes, and that thought only had him to leap right at Allison. His hand wrapped right around her throat before a dagger could be used to fight him off, his fingers wrapping to grip and to lift her up by her throat. And he looked at her with his a flame of a beast in his ice blue eyes, his teeth bared out in a hiss that could have put god's fear in anyone facing his beast. His long claws weren't burying underneath her skin but with a little bit of stronger grip, they would have easily cut into her flesh. He held her up high, so high that her hands could not reach to him.
Cora: The ability for the Kitsunes to lure the wolves into the school was an impressive move. The trickery only made Cora’s anger intensify with her ability to fall for it after realizing the plan was to get them to the school. Her aim had been set, primarily on the familiar girl, whose name was she remembered as Taylor, who set the fire and the other male hunter that joined them. The intense heat escalated through her body, sending her blood rushing through every vine as her glowing yellow eyes showed her rage and fury. Hearing a voice, her head shot towards the direction of it, spotting the familiar huntress. The voice distracted her intentions of going towards the other people, preparing herself to charge towards the female Argent. Seeing as Derek beat her to it, she decided to take a step back from that decisions, placing her attention back to her prior targets. Nodding her head towards the female and keeping a keen eye on the male hunter at the corner of her eyes, Cora pushed herself off the soles of her feet and charged towards Taylor, her hand reaching for the Taylor’s arm, gripping her fingers around it. Her orbs, flamed with rage, settled on the Taylor’s eyes, breathing through her teeth with snarls in between before throwing her against the wall. As she prepared herself for another attack, her legs carried herself over to Taylor once again.
Taylor: This wasn't exactly how Taylor had been planning on spending her night. The most trouble she had expected to get up to was spending too much money on cotton candy. Instead here she was, racing down a hallway with two werewolves in hot pursuit. Just another night in Beacon Hills, Kira had joked while they had led the werewolves into the school by herding them towards the building with walls of flames. The hunter, whoever he was, turning up was a definite blessing as he had managed to force one of the trailing werewolves who happened to get away back on course. She heard a female voice shout something and looking over shoulder, saw two of the werewolves divert and go after her. She watched as the male wolf, who Kira had told her was named Derek, lifted the girl clear off the ground. As Taylor readied a fireball in her palm to get Derek to drop the girl she felt a body collide with her, sending her to the ground with a thud. Above her she could see Cora snarling, teeth bared and claws ready to strike.
Allison: Even though the flames, the huntress could see the rage in Derek's icy blue eyes as he stared at her. She knew the moment started charging towards her that she should've run and every part of her body tried to will her to move but if she ran then she'd lead him away and possibly into more trouble. Her fingers began to dig into palms due to have tighter she was grasping at her daggers, standing her ground to fight. But she hardly had any time to fight as Derek stood before, she wasn't sure if it was because he'd been too quick for her or her unwillingness to want to hurt him. It was probably something linked with both. The hand around her throat caught her suddenly, her own hands coming up to join it as to try her best to pull his tight grasp from her but with Derek's supernatural strength her attempts were more than pointless. Allison could hear her heart pounding in her ears, the hiss which escape Derek sent fear through her especially which his grasp on her throat and his extended claws which could tear her apart which just a simply movement. The memories of Peter doing the exact same motion to Kate only made her struggle more, not wanting to end up like her aunt. "De-...Derek." Her name left her lips in nothing more than strained and gasp as she began to plead for him to let her go. The huntress could do nothing to save herself at this point, he was stronger and could easily overpower her with any move she struck at him, if she was able to reach him since he held her high at arm's length. The daggers she could so skillfully use hung on her fingers as her hands grasped at the arm which held her, her breath being taken from her but with struggling gasps she said the only thing which could come to her mind to attempt to pull him back. "I'm he- Here to h- help. I'm no- I'm not your- Your enemy, Derek."
Derek: Now, Derek's strong arm had no trouble with holding her up, not even with her effort to get off his grip. He nose lifted in another, almost silent, snarl and the anger burning within him only grew to his wolf formed features at his face. His eyes were at the girl who was in his grip, his savage ice eyes that wanted nothing more but to see her bleed. He could have use his claws into that throat that he so badly wanted to rip out with his teeth but he didn't, instead he just let his gaze rest upon his enemy. His attention was on Allison and on Allison only, he didn't care of the fight and sounds behind his back as he could only register the young huntress. She didn't fight back with all the strength that she could have, it let a small district of confusion to his otherwise such savage and grisly features. The struggle, the attempt of hers to pull herself off from his tight and merciless grasp was nothing against the power he possessed over her as he held up in the air. His name left her lips in nothing more than a strained gasp as she effort herself to plead for her life. Her daggers, that she should have used against him, were hung from her fingers as she only grasped his arm holding her up high, even Derek knew in his blinding rage that she made it far too easy for him. Her weak struggle only had him to look at her thinking how easy it would be now to just to curl his fingers around her throat, to sink his claws into her skin and to let her bleed to death but then gasping struggled words escaped pass her lips despite his choking grip. Maybe it was the wolfsbane slowly fading from his system or something else in her words that blanked out Derek's mind just for those words. His head canted aside in a tilt, her words drilling through into his mind as if they meant something to him, 'Not your enemy', echoed through the basis of his mind. And with her words echoing his mind, something shifted in his eyes as it did in his mind. Slowly, his expression shifted into something close to bang of guilt and confusion, his fingers loosened around her throat and he let her drop off to the ground as easily as he had lifted her in the first place. Derek stared down at Allison with all the rage and savage gone from his still ice blue eyes, there it was; his control.
Cora: Even with all the noises in the background from the other wolves, being the savages they were being, the female wolf was able to ignore them and place all her attention on Taylor. She inched closer to her and looked down at her, speeding up her breathing and snarling. Grabbing Taylor’s arm with her left hand, Cora lifted her up and faced her towards her direction. With her other hand, Cora extended it out behind her, ready to strike the female before her eyes. It was the urge to rip her apart and let her anger out as she wanted to watch the female scream in pain. Had she known that she could lose all her control this easily, she could’ve prepared for this event. The heartbeat of the girl was the loudest noise running through her mind at the moment-- ready for it to stop beating. Cora could see it before her eyes-- a lifeless body lying on the ground surrounded by a puddle of blood, staining the ground and adding a metallic stench in the atmosphere. Snapping back into reality, she came face to face with Taylor once again. She was expecting a fight, some type of defense against her, but before she could allow that to happen, Cora swung the extended arm towards Taylor. Her claws came in contact with her chest, only ripping the material of her shirt, but not in full contact of her skin that it could pierce through and rip it apart. Maybe it was a possible, small part of humanity left in her that caused her to miss the scratch or maybe it was just a fault, but whatever it was, Cora tightened her grip against Taylor.
Taylor: Searing pain bloomed through Taylor when her head slammed against the wall as Cora pinned her arm against it. Despite the darkening, hazy vision the impact was causing she could see the shewolf staring down at her menacingly. She screamed as the werewolf pulled her arm up into a painful postion above her head. When Cora slashed across her chest, claws extended she thought she was done for. The attack had just ripped her shirt, instead of her skin. Why Cora had missed, she had no idea and didn't have much time to contemplate her own miraculous survival before the wolf wrenched Taylor's arm further back and made her shout out once more. She looked down at her free arm, the one Cora had so far neglected to pay any attention to. A slight flickering flame still danced across her palm. It was no where near the fireball she had been planning at throwing at Derek but it would do for now. "Good thing you can't hate me more than you already do because this is about to hurt" she quipped just as she slammed her palm, and the conjured flames, into the side of the shewolf's face. There couldn't possibly be enough fire in her palm to cause serious damage but, Taylor hoped, it would sting enough to at least disorientate Cora and get her to drop the kitsune.
Allison: She could sense that her words had some effect; whether it was just him simply listening to her voice or that they meant something to him. Allison went with the second option as his expression softened from the werewolf side of him that she fear, a term in itself she hated, to one which showed her words had pulled him back. Her hands and knees hurt the floor harder than any other part of her body, taking most of the impact into her palms as she caught the ground and the sharp edges of the daggers which were still looped around her fingers unused which causes a few small cuts but nothing that she hadn't experienced before during her practices with the piece of weaponry. As she'd dropped to the ground when his fingers loosened from around her throat, she found herself gasping for air in short, quick breaths which probably wasn't doing much good for controlling her breathing at all. But seconds ago any breath could've been her last and she couldn't suffered the same fate her aunt had to a Hale werewolves, the parallels sent a shiver down her spine at the thought. Pushing her body up from the ground, even still as she tried to steady her breathing as well as her racing heartbeat, her gazed move quickly from Derek to Cora and the girl she still didn't know. This time, Allison was able to witness where the fire had first come from as she watched the fighting between the unknown girl and Cora. "Derek, we need to help her." It was a relief to finally get a full sentence without choking on her words as she struggled for air. Despite seeing that the unknown girl appeared to have it covered, she still didn't trust that she wouldn't go as far as hurting the unstable werewolf to save herself. And she knew just as well as Derek, not so equally but enough, that he couldn't lose another family member. "Derek!"
Derek: It had took passing my seconds for Derek to process her words, the rage slowly fading and changing into realization over what he was doing and what had just taken over him. The fear in the girl's eyes was real, searching for any sign of mercy from his icy blue eyes. For a second Derek quite couldn't realize what had happened to them, what had happened to him and what had taken over him, but once he did, his merciless grip around Allison's neck loosened till she was dropped off to the ground into front of him. And then he just stared at her, he stared at her with a misc of confusion and vivid guilt into his killer blue orbs. His body was stiffened, still, as he could only process the event that was just taking a place around him. Derek couldn't quite catch his mind to take any action before Allison had pushed her off the ground and was standing in front of him with her heartbeat catching like a loud thunder his hearing. Her words only woke up Derek to turn his attention fully from the girl he had just nearly killed seconds ago, he turned around, only to stand next to the huntress who was calling out his name one more time. He looked at the scene taking a place around him, the two werewolves tackling a male he didn't know and Kira, then Cora giving all her force onto an unknown girl. His features slowly returned back to his normal and he looked Allison who was standing by his side, "Help them.", he barked a single order at the huntress to help the unknown male hunter and Kira before he took an action of his own. He didn't look back twice but rushed to the direction where his little sister was in her full attempt to tear the unknown kitsune apart, his hand gripped on Cora's shirt from behind and he pulled her away from the girl before either of them could take an action to harm each other. "Cora.", the big brother growled at his little sister, holding her back before he turned to look at the other girl in the fight, "Take Kira and go back to help people at the carnival.", of course he was barking orders like the alpha he had once been, "Go, now, go!".
Cora: The girl’s scream echoed through Cora’s head, finding pleasure in every sharp note of the scream as she realize the pain she was enacting on Tayor. Staring into the girl’s eyes, she encountered the sight of agony that created a satisfaction within her, encouraging her to perform another attack. Seeing a glowing spark in the corner of her eyes, Cora looked down at the girl’s hand to find the fireball, sitting there, ready for defense. Knowing what could happen in the next few seconds, she was about to reach for her hand but was too late. Once the flame came in contact against her skin, Cora’s arm released the Kitsune and flinched back to her face, shielding her eyes from the bright flame. Stumbling back, Cora let out a few more growls. If it was even more possible, the movement right there caused her to get even angrier, intensifying the rage that was completely controlling every aspect of her movements. Gaining full adjustment of the scene, Cora sauntered towards the Kitsune once again, deciding that this would be her final attack-- the attack that would end it all. Her hands grabbed both of the other’s hands this time, placing all her strength on Taylor, making sure that her power would be hard for Taylor to remove herself from her grip. Glaring into her eyes, part of her wanted to tell Taylor to run, to try to fight, but the other part of her wanted to make sure that this one attack could end her heart beating. Before she could rip the kitsune apart, Cora felt herself being pulled away, stammering away once she heard her name being called. Her name ringing through her ears, repeating itself over and over but soon fading into the silence as she focused her attention on her older brother again. Without any contemplating, she began to swing her arms back and forth, targeting her aim at Derek.
Taylor: Taylor saw Cora get pulled away from her by Derek and breathed a sigh of momentary relief. She wasn't going to die yet, that was something. She heard the older werewolf shout an order at her to find Kira and get to the Ferris Wheel. She looked around and saw Kira running towards her with one of the other werewolves close on her tail. Said werewolf was then sent reeling to the ground as one of the hunters, the male, jabbed it with what looked like an overcharged cattle prod. Kira ended up along side her. "We have to get to the Ferris Wheel" explained Taylor, pulling the other kitsune along and out of the hallway. It felt strange, she had to admit, following the orders of a werewolf who only seconds before had been trying to kill. She shook the thought aside as the stepped out into the still humid night. The storm hadn't abated yet and she could see the Ferris Wheel in the distance standing still with people trapped inside. Apparently her night of supernatural life-saving wasn't over yet.
Allison: It was from the single order that Allison took off to do exactly what she was told, making her way towards Charlie and ignoring the throbbing pain which was settling in her knees. With the daggers now gripped tightly in her hands, the huntress was soon enough by Charlie's side in order to distract the werewolf that was attacking him. Unlike with Derek, Allison had no idea what level of control the werewolf had nor what was to come from simply distraction methods. This meant, she'd have to get her hands dirty. Allison did what she could to avoid claws tearing at her skin but there wasn't much to savour as they caught on her clothing and still cut along her chest. She was sent to the ground again, knocking the wind out of her as she'd tried to block another attack but had misjudged the timing and the amount of force used for the blow. Her eyes never left the werewolf nor Charlie as they went at it again, giving Allison time to roll onto her side and push herself to her feet. Luckily, just in time, she was able to get to her feet and once again drag the werewolf's attention away from Charlie in order for him to sent the werewolf chasing Kira to the ground with a weapon she knew was once Kate's favourite choice. The daggers she used cut through flesh as she sliced at her attacker's arm, knocking them backwards slightly to create a gap so she could glance over her shoulder to check on Charlie and Derek.
Derek: Once after Derek's way parted from standing by Allison's side, he knew that his main priority was on keeping his sister from doing something she would regret for as long as she lived. His grip at Cora's shirt was sudden and pulling back as he made sure the girl, the other kitsune, could have her chance to move away under Cora's targeting claws. Derek could recognize and see the beast savage and wild in Cora's eyes as he cast his gaze and a growl at his younger sister, she wanted nothing more than to just to let all the rage that she held within her heart out on anything and anyone at her sight, it was the same gaze he had seen in them when he had last time stopped Boyd and Cora under a raw full moon. He could only think fast about what had to be done and what should be done, his gaze stealing a glance over his shoulder from the hunter, Allison, Kira and the two other wolves fighting for their survival and then turning to look at the girl who was staring right at him. Derek knew he could handle Cora, and the two hunters should have been enough for two wolves till the situation was back under the wolves own control. As giving orders to the kitsune, he watched her to follow them, to make sure Kira could escape the space with her as they were needed at the Wherris Wheel. Derek's full attention returned back to Cora, her claws already taking several of sharp cuts upon wherever they could reach on her brother who had just ruined her plan to tear kitsune apart. One more glance at Allison and the boy whose name he didn't know before he took another hold of his little sister, pushing her right into a wall by baring his arm against her neck to hold her. A single merciless growl left his throat, teeth bared out and his eyes steel blue targeted a hold against his sister. The fight over control had just began.
Cora: Once her back collided with the wall, Cora added all her power into tearing at her brother’s chest. As he got a hold of her, her eyes fixed with his eyes, staring back at the his blue eyes. The familiarity of his eyes, the person who had taken care of her, and his growl resulted in her arms freezing, stiffening before falling to her sides. It was as if it was another replica of what happened before, with her, her brother, and Boyd. It took a few seconds for Cora to realize what was going on and what she was doing as her anger and rage slowly subdued. Finally gaining her control, the wolf-like expression that was expressed her face faded into a human one. The same human face before this all happened but with hints of prostration and exhaustion. Bringing her hand against the same cheek that was attacked by a fireball earlier, she felt the throbbing pain that was now quickly healing. Her orbs glanced around the scene before her, the room full of drained atmosphere like an aftermath of war. The feeling of guilt and culpability overcame her, questioning how this could all happen. Cora tossed a gaze at her brother with weary eyes, sending him a message that this was all over and everything was fine for now.
