RECOMMENDED ALBUM OF THE WEEK: Grip “Wolves/Fawn EP”
This EP blends every post genre together seamlessly, most notably their post-rock and post-hardcore genres! When the vocals come in, the mix between spoken word and screaming really gets the hardened emotion across with ease. The whole album’s progression starts slow, but gets increasingly more awesome as it goes on. This is definitely MANDATORY LISTENING!

Darko The Super & All These Fingers “A Denial”
Artfully crafted and genre mashed experimental beats are again delivered by Darko on this release. Whether it’s jazz, spoken word, etc… it’s represented in a way where it doesn’t just seem too busy. When the rhymes are introduced it has this nerdy yet somehow smooth approach that straight rules! As far as experimental hip hop goes, nobody matches Darko in town.

Eventhrough “Invoking”
Killer goth rock that is as dark and mysterious as the genre itself. Deep vocal tracks, killer riffs, soft keys and a steady drumbeat make this single amazing. Complete with remixes of both tracks that are just as interesting, if not better than, the original tracks, just adds to the already amazingness of this single.

Igneous Eyes “MAGMA: Dynamo Conflagration”
Highly experimental psych rock that takes you on one hell of a trip… electronic elements mixed with highly effected standard rock instruments through out. Igneous Eyes shares the tape with Shape Denter, Dr. Univers, Lunar Revolt and Binyone for one wild experience. This is a listen for yourself and come up with your own conclusions. There’s a LOT going on here. Definitely a really interesting listen.

Ill Doots “The 2x Tuesday Collection”
Extremely KILLER HIP HOP! The beats rule, the rhymes are smooth as hell and over all the song writing will keep you head nodding from clicking play through the last second of this record! Hook after hook, this record straight blew me away. Definitely MANDATORY LISTENING!

Mohican “Mohican”
Some of the sickest instrumental, post-hardcore/rock I’ve heard in a long while! Every song takes you on a ride that twists and turns, winding through an intense journey that is anthemic and borderline soundtrack worthy. One listen and you’ll hear how much thought and talent went into this recording!

Night Windows “Not Listening”
Ultra catchy indie rock that is nothing but hook after hook! My favorite part is how intricate the drumming gets and how the riffs mix with those beats. The vocals are, as always, top notch and it’s, yet, another killer track to add to Night Window’s catalog!

PJ Bond “Where Were You?”
Super smooth and relaxing indie rock that mixes classic rock, alt-country and folk into the mix. The songwriting on this album is just over the top! Every single song is really catchy and has some unexpected aspects that turn an already amazing track into a killer song. Overall, a great mix of genres on this recording that blend together to make an awesome album!

Vulturepeak “Live//Improv Noise Tape”
Sick live album by these NEPAns! It’s trashy, grind laden and overall just completely heavy as fuck! The dissonance resonates to your core with discomfort through out, especially with the 3 noise tracks in the middle!
