I've downloaded a manual about event management in my pursuit for becoming an effective eventologist. And so here's my guide..... 1. In the planning stage, the details of the event must be laid out like the venue, time and the number of participants. An event manager will be on top of these things. 2. There must be a site map ready especially if the venue is very big. The entrances and exits must be clear as well as potential accidents that may happen. There should be a committee for the venue preparations and bookings and the like. There should also be a plan B and C ready, just in case something might happen before or during the event. 3. Waste management and public safety must be well planned. 4. Event promotion is the key to a successful event so make sure that advertising is done properly and consider crowd control as well. 5. Always have a lot of connections. There should be a wide range of professional contacts. And there it is. A summary. Simple.
