Arival/First Dance|| Lelia and Carter
Carter got done with his shower, drying off putting on his outfit, his mask and some cologne. It was enough time to be ready and get there early. He went downstairs and unfortunately, his car was having issues starting. He sighed a bit, deciding to walk it. Since it wasn't too far of a walk. It was about one mile and the weather wasn't too bad in beacon. He made it barely a few minutes after the ball had started when people started filing in. He made his way in and looked around, coming across some familiar faces but not the one he was hoping for. Sighing and putting on a smile, he was happy to be here. He had friends that would be here, and some that seemed cool. So it would be a good night, he told himself before making his way across the area until he caught site of a familiar brunette, even though it was tough to recognize at first with the mask but he's really good at remembering faces. "Lelia!" he called out as he walked up to her.
the Kissing Booth // Open Event Paragraph
Pulling at the blue beanie that rested atop her head, the blonde stuck her opposite hand out to the ticket distributor He was tall, with dark hair and acne littering his forehead, and as he grabbed Riley's hand, she flinched at the sweaty, coarse skin she was met with. He then placed a stamp on the top of her hand, and gave her a crooked-toothed smile that caused Riley to rush away as quickly as she could. Shaking her head in disgust, the huntress wiped her hands down her jeans, shivering as she wondered where those hands had been.
Just then, she heard a voice call out her name, Turning at the sound, Riley looked around the area she was in; to her left was the Ferris Wheel, and to the right was the kissing booth. As her eyes ran over the small, inviting-looking pink booth that was littered with hearts and kisses, she felt her stomach drop. Back at the beginning of the school year, she and Charlie had volunteered to help out at the kissing booth, just for fun.
"Riley, hey!" repeated the voice as a familiar blonde from the cheerleading team came into view. She had an exhausted smile on her face, and Riley let out a sigh. "It's your turn for the kissing booth! Where's Charlie?" after explaining that Charlotte wouldn't be attending, due to an 'illness' Riley was put to work. Leaning up against the counter, the blonde ran her sleeve across her mouth. This was a horrible decision, and now Charlie wasn't even here to suffer with her.
Session with Dr. Petrova || Clara & Ana
Running the tube of lipstick over her already-pink lips once more, Clara Saltzman let out a long sigh. As she stared at her reflection in the mirror, she noticed that her lips were turned down in a frown and her blonde eyebrows were furrowed together. She was sitting in a comfortable chair in her assigned room for the pageant, and she had already finished her hair so she was now working on her makeup. But, for some reason, she couldn't focus. She had been staring straight ahead with the lipstick in her hand for nearly 10 minutes, her mind simply taking control as she sat there.
Clara had never been so confused in her life. She was in love with Derek, she knew that, and everything between them had been amazing. Up until that day last week when her old flame and best friend Clay Wilson had made his way back into town, showing up at Clara's door randomly. She had had a crush on the brunette ever since she was 14, and even after moving away to England, the two had kept in touch. And now that he was here, one of the first things that had happened was Clay admitted he was falling for her. She knew that there were some sort of unresolved feelings there for him, but now that she was with Derek, how was she supposed to chose between them?
Clara shook her head as a sigh escaped her lips and she set the lipstick down, noticing that her lips were already too pink. Just then a knock came at the door and she looked over her shoulder, her frown deepening. A part of her was hoping it wasn't one of the boys, because she truly wasn't ready to see them, and a part of her was hoping that maybe one of them would walk in, looking handsome and amazing and that would be her sign of who to chose. But instead as the door inched open and Clara pushed herself to stand, she noticed the person stepping inside was not only the same height as Clara herself, but that they were also of the female gender. "Ana!" Clara greeted, forcing her lips up into a smile as her friend closed the door behind her. "Hi."
Miss Festive Falls || Open Para
The mansion was decortated beautifully. Clara's eyes wandered over the lights and fixtures, surprise taking a hold of her. She hadn;t expected Elijah to do such a beautiful job, especially since it had appeared he had planned the whole event on his own. Technically the runners for Miss Festive Falls were not supposed to be seen until the traditional dance, but Clara simply couldn't sit in the upstairs room any longer. Her nerves were taking over her and she had needed to escape the stuffy air.
As Clara made her way around the large, slightly crowded mansion, her hands regularly moved down to her dress nervously. She had brought two dresses with her to the event, one red and one pink, but she had ultimately chosen the red one. She wasn't completely sure where her date/escort was, but she wasn't worrying about it too much. Derek had promised to be there for the dance, and that was the most important part. Just then a waiter offered Clara a tall flute of champagne and she paused, wondering if Scott would find out. Clara let out a long sigh before looking around her to make sure no one was looking before she reached out and took the glass from the waiter, giving him a charming smile.
Kiss Me Like You Wanna Be Loved || Saltzson
Clara's hands nervously twitched over the front of her dress, her top teeth digging into her bottom lip as she looked over her reflection in the floor length ahead of her. She had gotten ready in one of the many unoccupied rooms of the Mayors Mansion, and she knew that the other girls competing for Miss Festive Falls were somewhere near her, too. Clara leaned forward and ran her pinky finger under her left eye, wincing when she noticed the makeup she was wearing wasn't completely covering the bags under her eyes from her lack of sleep. Just then a knock came on the door and Clara jumped in surprise, looking behind her as she straightened up and fiddled nervously with a stray curl that sat on her shoulder. She then walked over to the door, her heels clicking against the hardwood floor as she did so. Clara pulled open the door and looked up at the man in front of her, a smile appearing on her lips. "Hey," she greeted the brunette, her heart skipping a beat.
Grand Re-Opening || Clara || Open
Clara was all ready to go to the Grand Re-Opening. She was nervous, sure, but she was also excited because tonight was her first party type thing since she had returned to Mystic Falls from England. Looking at herself once more in the mirror, she smiled slightly and then turned away, picking up her clutch and placing the black silk shrug around her shoulders. Scott had already left for the event, he had said something about helping Damon with set up, so Clara was stuck arriving by herself. She had asked Isaac to go with her, but he hadn't gotten back to her.
Stepping through the large front doors of the Salvatore Estate a while later, Clara looked around curiously. Her blue eyes searched around the room for anyone she knew, but before she could go over and join anyone, a lady in a waitresses outfit reached out and took her shrug off of her shoulders. Clara smiled politely and allowed the woman to take her shrug, afterwards she began to walk further into the beautiful home, her eyes scanning every wall in awe. The house truly was beautiful. As she made her way to the bar, she looked around to try and find someone she knew and could socialize with.
