More Ever After Italian Renaissance underdress progress! Plus bonus, I found a perfect pair of leather shoes! So this is the complete gamurra underdress, but like, now that I see it on, I'm disappointed with how long the bodice is ugh. I have plenty of green, I may end up bringing the bodice up like an inch or so, so frustrating! I tried on the sleeves with the shortened bodice underdress, I think the it works better shorter! The sleeves are difficult to put on with the giant camicia sleeves and the tired don't stay tied, I'll have to figure that stuff out. My Ever After Italian Renaissance sleeves are cut out of my velvet! I have some gold trim that I will be adding to the edges. I'm also going to be adding some metal rings to tie them together. Pattern for my Ever After Italian Renaissance sleeves is drafted and the linen lining is cut out! I'll be testing these before cutting into my olive green velvet pictured here. My Ever After Italian Renaissance gamurra underdress bodice is complete! The bodice is three layers and lightly boned with plastic boning. I tried it on with my camicia and short stays, I'll need to untie and hide the stays straps in the back for the final, but I think it's coming along nicely! My Regency short stays are done! I finished up the pink binding and grommets earlier today, and I tried it on with my Ever After camicia. These stays will be great for my Regency and Italian Renaissance stuff! I love all the colors I added, just for fun. The pattern for these is Laughing Moon. Spiral lacing, flat and spiral boning, and cording. The fabric is cotton twill.
