It dawned on me that August will probably get along the best with Emmett when he first meets his brothers. Elliott and Everett can both be overwhelming in different ways. Emmett is pretty aloof and chill, which will be nice for August’s anxiety.

Does Everett ever feel sad because all his siblings have someone in The Dad Apples™️ (Hayden/August, Jackson/Elliott, Diego/Emmett) to ~relate to~ except for him?

Small scene that just popped in my head:

Everett starts to have a panic attack, but he has no idea that that’s what he’s having. It happens a lot, but he’s never told anyone (he wants to be the one who helps, not the one being helped.). Cue one of the Dad Apples™️ noticing what’s going on and talking him through it.
