最近、お店で工具のコーナーを探索していると、あっ、こんな工具が出来たんだ、と思わずうなる便利工具が増えた気がします。

工具ブランドの研究開発が加速しているのでしょうか、僕の思いすごしでしょうか。

便利工具は誠にありがたい、逆になぜ今まで世に無かったのか、と感謝しつつ、姿の美しさはどの程度考慮されているんだろうと考えます。

使う人の心のありようが一番ですが、やはり工具そのものにある意味の美しさが備わっていれば愛着が生まれ、大切に扱うと思うんですよね。

こちらアメリカは EVERHOT のブロートーチ。

板金用のこてを熱したり、配管のロウ付け等に用います。

欧米の工具は全般に頑強ですが、頑強なだけでは１００年この様な状態を保てないかなと思います。

今見ても美しい。

僕が金属加工に用いるのはワンタッチのガストーチ。

これが便利なんですよねー、あっ。

Another from last Sunday's "Homes & more" #interior news in Scotland on Sunday, where I mentioned the Teal Everhot 100i electric range cooker from @everhot_cookers - the Teal range is a new colour from the company.
