The Ke'rata, a race in the world of Evernyth.

Also came up with a few headcanons.
Since a location wasn't given, I figure they're central to the base of mountains to the north of Aedrenad, with a smaller group living high up in the mountains.
Ke'rata actually grow minimal hair on their head, but only those living high up in the snowy peaks actually allow theirs to grow. It's considered uncivilized for a Ke'rata not to shave their hair.
There is a tradition of tying a female Ke'rata's horns through puberty, so that instead of growing long around the ears, they remain high on the head. Girls going through this are typically prodigal healers, and decorate their horn wrappings in a showy fashion.

An open, submission-based experiment in communal worldbuilding and storytelling.
Okay so I know I've been spamming a bit about this, but I figured I should actually explain what this project actually is!
Basically, the premise is that we (meaning my friend and I) posted a map with a few country names and geographic areas on it, along with a general statement about it being a fantasy world, and then opened it up for anyone and everyone to contribute to. The idea is to bring together a wide variety of people to all collaborate on the most unique fantasy world we can make. We're going to try to keep it as submission-based as we can, so we need as many contributors as we can get!
There's really no restriction on what you can do– submit ideas about magic, government/history, culture, religion/mythology, or anything else; design or write characters and creatures to populate the world; do art of a written idea or write about a submitted picture; basically anything is free game! The whole idea is about collaboration, so don't hesitate to build upon or work with an idea that someone else submitted!
We're at about 65 followers in less than 24 hours, which is awesome, but I'm sure there are even more out of all 19,000 of you who have some amazing ideas to bring to the table!
