She hadn't been avoiding him since they maybe had that kiss. Nope, not at all. It was just that Lou made sure she was as busy as humanly possible and navigated school like a ghost, doing her best to not be seen.

She'd done a pretty good job, but as usual, her luck couldn't last, and her streak of goodness came to an end by running straight into Ben's chest as she turned a corner.

"Shit." At first, Lou hadn't realized it was him, but when green eyes looked up, they grew wide and she took a step back. "Oh. OH. Um, hey." Nervous hands pushed loose strands of hair behind her ears. "Hi, um. How've... you been?"

The Child couldn't sleep. His pod had been moving for what felt like a very long time, until it stopped at last. He was quiet as he waited. Wondering if he would be left here. Or if his pod would suddenly- bright lights blinded his big brown eyes as his pod opened, making him squint. His ears were lowered as he cautiously observed the stranger in front of him.

That was a fatal mistake. It wasn't long before Billy's boots could be heard approaching the bathroom door before his fist threateningly pounded. "Open the door, Alister!" He snapped, grabbing the knob, twisting it roughly. When she hid, it always triggered something in him. Especially when he was already fueled by his anger.

Alister's heart was pounding in her chest as she leaned all her weight back against the door. There was only one way this night would end and she was going to try everything she could to put it off. "Not until you calm the /fuck/ down!" She cried, hoping that things would be different this time.
