This is a mini collage of the old shophouses of Singapore in the Kampong Bahru region. Individual shophouses have an exterior which is typically composed of a 3 x 2 grid, and the ones in this area have mostly well maintained facades with striking colour combinations.
Sometimes the walls of these shophouses are decorated with little floral tile flourishes which form the basis of my art: Tiled Flora.
