Panic! At the Flower Shop || Wally & Red
There was something about nature that put Red at ease- something in the lack of people, or perhaps just the sheer purity of it. Maybe it was just that he'd spent too long away from civilization to ever feel comfortable in it. Well, regardless of the reason, it still meant that the ravenet tended to spend more time among plants than people. They were quiet and comforting, after all.
When Red had stumbled upon a rather lovely field of flowers, it was that exact quiet and comfort that had lowered his guard and begged him to relax in it. That was how he'd ended up staring up at the sky, taking in the soft blues and clouds that looked like pictures in the making. It should have been a long time since he last gazed at the clouds like this, seeing as he was a grown man. However, in all honesty, he'd just done it yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that... He was a bit of an oddball, Red.
As he was finding pokemon in the fluffy shapes of clouds, Red's eyelids began to droop. No matter how much he enjoyed doing practically nothing, he was just too tired to stay awake much longer. With a tired yawn and an inattentive mind, he rolled onto his side and drifted off to sleep.
As he was in the middle of incredulously watching Green and Pika dance, a strange sound filled his ears; it sounded suspiciously like a human, and he knew that he hadn't said anything. Slowly, his eyes fluttered open, and Red returned to the waking world. The sky looked much darker than it had earlier, and- no... That wasn't the sky at all, was it? Still drowsy, Red's lips tugged downwards just the slightest as he realized that he was staring at a pair of unfamiliar blue eyes.
