I went to this rock concert the other night. I wore a light pink shirt, everything else I wore was black. Some girls behind me were talking and said “do you see that girl in pink? Why is she fucking here? Obviously she doesn’t listen to this type of music! She’s probably the frilly type who is just here because she thinks it’ll be cool. How obnoxious.” Like ???? What’s obnoxious is the fact that she felt so attacked just by me wearing a pink shirt. And for some reason what shirt I wore showed my hypothetical personality which offended her. Like, sorry that I don’t dress in all black and trying to be super edgy? I didn’t realize there was a dress code to listening to rock music
