thinking  about  possessions  and  how  they  leave  imprints  of  their  owners,  and  how  olivia  used  the  shawl  she  wrapped  around  herself  to  feel  it’s  history  and  was  able  to  visualise  what  the  owner  of  that  shawl  was  seeing  /  feeling  at  the  time,  and  now  i  can’t  remember  exactly  but  was  it  ever  confirmed  that  that  shawl  was  poppy’s  ?  because  olivia  was  seen  again  with  the  shawl  in  her  “reading  room”  so  she  likely  wore  it  quite  a  bit  inside  hill  house,  and  i’m  wondering  now  if  that  means  that  poppy’s  influence  over  her  was  at  all  connected  to  the  shawl  itself.
