Chasemarsh Monday fanfic recommendation: Everyday Angels by venus_in_life

Summary: Victoria x Kate fic..... with PICTURES! 🖼️

In an alternate universe, the vortex club tape was never made. Instead, Kate's lesbian-themed blog is leaked in the schools groupchat. People are shocked, but none more so than Victoria. Because, unlike all the other students, this isn't the first time she's seen this particular blog...

My take: This fic tells the tale of a Victoria who is forced to choose between her social standing and the girl she has feelings for in a heart-wrenching and beautiful way, elevated all the more by the author’s stunning artwork included with each chapter.

It must have been about 10 years ago now. One day, Curtis and I were in a Fred Meyer, and we kept coinciding with a group of 3 or 4 young women, aged 18-20. They each were carrying a giant bouquet of flowers, all through the store. They were bubbly and carefree. I told Curtis, "I love these girls."

And then. It happened.

We overheard one of them say, "Should I get this?? It's only 25 dollars. omg. Should I??

Fuck it.

I'm getting it.

FUCK IT."

And I have been quoting her ever since.
