old mookta fans will recall i have another sister. who's son we adopted after she went thru some mental health ish. we got a call yesterday evening asking to consent to certain life saving procedures because she was found unresponsive. we'd been estranged for over a decade, mostly as boundary to protect my nephew. I got to see her for the first time in years last night. but she was already gone.

my sister died last night. ugh. everything feels floaty and unreal and sinking at the same time. I pray fiercely that she is at peace. life has been so cruel to her and it was painful all along knowing we weren't together. I was obsessed with her growing up. it's a shame. it's all damn shame.

im grateful to have touched her one last time. even though she was cold💔

it's gonna be long road to make sense of all this.
