Not sure where I found these images of a German ad for Fox dishwashing soap from the 1950s, but they’ve been tucked into my “inspo” file forever. Proof that art inspiration hides in the everyday. I love the vibrancy and the charm of the illustrations by H. Winterburg. The story in them, the point of the ad, is so clear that there’s no need for any translation, or even any text at all.
If such a brand existed today, of course I would buy it. Of course I would.
