Ashley Wylde’s (aka @everydaygay) video on nonbinary dysphoria
I feel like this fits my own personal experience really well as well. (Except I have a massive chest, can’t wear sports bras, binding does very little, and I really want my chest gone, flat, because of these factors)
Scrolling through my feed I noticed different names with sentences after them in everydaygay 's blog. Intrigued I started to read each of them. I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth after reading them. I think what made me smile about it was that as human beings we are constantly in our "own world" ( deep in our thoughts), that a lot of the time we may feel like details go unnoticed. After, reading Ashley's post, where someone sends her a name and she writes what she recalls about someone with that name, I smiled. I smiled because it's a beautiful thing to read about details we recall about one another. It comes to show that if you ever feel like you're unnoticed there's someone out there whom you haven't seen in years that still remembers details about you. That's beautiful. I have a strong appreciation for people who use their relationship with words to express how wonderful life can be. Thank you Ashley.
