Project Ordinary Magic | Everyday Normal: AMANDA. ⠀ I’ve had this back burner idea for years to photograph people doing everyday normal things. My goal is to share the little moments in life that we may not always get to see. To me, photographing people has nothing to do with acting poised and posed. I don’t much care for people to act in front of my lens. I care that people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, camera or not. ⠀ I photographed Amanda two days ago, on a Sunday morning. Her pup, Jada, lay at my feet with occasional licks and excited pants whilst her mama doing her thing. Amanda lives the path of do no harm, take no shit. She’s smart, funny, and contagiously free in her expression. And one of my favorite people to bounce ideas off of and we let each other have bitch-fest vent sessions when needed. She’s also a grounded, knowledgeable yoga teacher and she’ll drop some bombs with her east coast charm. She teaches me. ⠀ Thank you, @_amandavdub, for being my first for this project and trusting me to see and capture you so freely. ⠀ #ordinarymagic #everydaynormal #everydaynormalproject #sharethepeople https://www.instagram.com/p/BsGkKdvloMk/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16px2anbon6w2
