The wooden miniature modeling mannequin was resting against the white wall. The strong mid afternoon summer sun was drenching the model and the shadow fell on the wall. I was lazily sitting on my comfortable sofa and reading a travel book as travelling is receding like a mirage on the desert. As I looked at the shadow on the wall that was growing bigger and bigger than the model itself, my ever conscious moment with the virus now translated it into the fight with the shadow. It's been 4 months since we are locked up and the world has been brought to a halt. The fight is real, the hospital corridors are war zones. The mass burials are surreal. The cry, agony and pain are hurting to the core yet the fight is still seems with a shadow. We are tired mentally, and physically we are ached. The best of the brains are engaged in finding and building the right weapon, yet the virus that is invisible to the eyes seems to be invincible. We just cannot get a grip of it. PS.
