well because since wes started living there he found the apartment haunted by memories and stories. like the bite marks on bed and the nail marks on the wall and everything and recently the whole grandma sent money thing happened! so yeah i guess
i feel like maybe rebecca and him killed lila?? would make sense, because rebecca acts like she knows nothing about him when she clearly knew him well. when wes mentioned how odd it was that rudy's grandmother was still sending him mail to this address she just changed the subject. and now he's either on the run or he's in a psychiatric ward. i just hate how everything comes back to rebecca somehow because i want to like her but she just keeps fucking up.
