So it’s selling time still while my plan-chest of unlimited nonsense is still overflowing. I’ve put this on Etsy too but DM me if you like one and want to avoid postage. Price on here is £25. I made this print in 2018 as christmas presents for family. That means the first set from this edition are already owned but while looking back at the work I felt like now I should offer the rest of them up here. What I love about printmaking is that even in an edition of 25 prints each pull offers the chance to be part of that family but also a unique image in itself. This set is like that so if you would like to purchase one please look through the photos to specify which one you like. There are 15 still available and ten listed here with 5 more replacements to come if these all sell but because this was a reduction print no further prints can be pulled (as the process of reduction destroys the block in stages). Many reduction prints you may have seen will have been done on lino or even wood but this set was experimenting with neoprene as the surface which transferred the print to paper which offers a softer surface. Some of these prints have different levels of texture, detail and contrast and each has its own feel so it is important to choose the one you like. Hope Street is one of my favourite places in Liverpool, with a huge cathedral at each end and some wonderful theatre, pubs and businesses including The everyman pictured here, The Pen Factory, The Casa and both Philharmonics and many other wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars. I'm also offering this work a little cheaper than my other listings because since they are a little older I have learned a lot since I made these images. I no longer use the same materials but I still feel these are among my favourite of my print work from that year. #printmakersofinstagram #printmaking #liverpool #hopestreet #everymantheatre #liverpoolcathedral #reductionprint #neopreneprinted (at Hope Street Quarter) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIY4BCkHhgN/?igshid=2fxhb277mpor
