some unorganized thoughts of mine that I wrote frantically in my notes app after r7, first off, Luka.

thruout the whole song he's smiling and laughing, just as he did in r5 and probsbly every round hes been in

Especially because he's winning by a considerable amount, and when till has his burst of energy after seeing mizi, he looks PISSED, i saw a theory that said luka would be smiling and having fun because he feels like till is a worthy opponent and I js don't agree. I think luka is possessive and terroritorial, he wants to win and he KNOWS he doesn't have to try hard to win, I think the joy for him is watching his opponents try their hardest while he's still relaxed, not putting all of what he has, but when till does, he gets mad because he CANT lose. He is genetically modified to WIN, no matter what, and till threatening that obviously pissed him off. I don't think luka is looking for a worthy opponent, I think luka wants attention, and if anyone outshines him then that attention won't be on him, that's what pisses him off

Sweet memory of hanging out at the gay bar with the guy I met at the art museum* who needed help deciding which three posters to buy for his father’s apartment. He was a 29 year old digital nomad jew from amsterdam who was sad because he wanted to be obsessed and devoted to someone and all the germanically independent progressive polycule gays back home made him feel clingy. Which came up because I said I had five boyfriends ^.^;;; Anyway shout out to @demonprincex for sharing so many takes on the subject, it felt really good to be like “babe you don’t have to! it’s good to keep looking for what you want!”. and have like, a loose map in my head of the kind of stuff he goes through. And then we were mildly catty about wearing hiking clothes in the office, and it was great.

* This wasn’t a planned hang out. We’d just happened to cross paths the day before. And a day later he saw me at the bar and was like, “omg it’s you! I knew I needed a queer opinion, no wonder you helped me decide so fast” xD
