I forgot how much stress 8x10 gave me.
I knew Danny survived being shot but still I was at the edge of my seat during the whole episode.
Once again Steve almost lost someone he loves. Alex did a great job as you could see in his eyes how worried and scared he was.
How can tptb want us to believe that the boys are completely platonic when they write scenes like the Danno dream sequences?!
Danny imagines his futur and Steve is always by his side. Grace wedding is at Steve's house. They are still bickering on the beach even in their old age.
I don't believe Danny when he's saying he would do everything exactly the same. I think his imaginary granddaughter knows he would change at least one thing, that would be put a ring on Steve's finger.
McDanno is undeniable.
I really enjoy the 200th episode of Hawaii Five-0. I particularly love the opening theme in the big band style.
I appreciate that Alex and Scott had the most screen time of the cast. Also they look good in 40's suits, especially Alex.
The episode is a nice change of pace. I smirked at the Wo Fat easter egg.
I adore that Danny immediately abandons his restaurant as soon as Steve is out. Neither can imagine doing something like that without the other. McDanno is eternal.
My only regret is not seeing any recurring guest star. It's a bit sad for such a milestone.
Bonus:
Adam is back. Danny went to give him an offer because Steve is "literally tied up" and a pep talk as he knows what he's going through.
What's very telling is Danny saying "stop touching me" after their hug.
It means Danny isn't a tactile guy. He likes his personal bubble. It made me realize he's like that with the ohana.
The only exception is Steve. Steve can touch him all he wants, Danny won't reject him.
To me, it's a sign of his feelings, and he also recognizes how touch starve Steve really is.
McDanno is undeniable and eternal.
I had forgotten how much I dislike season 4 of Hawaii Five 0. Despite having two of my all time favorite episodes, I just can’t stand CR.
I still have to watch the last two from this season but I’ll be happy when she won’t be a regular anymore.
The way the relationship between Danny and Amber started is creepy.
Once again, the McDanno chemistry is unbeatable, undeniable and undefeated.
