gregory house's nightmare
Twelve and Clara, the second most hilarious double act in the NuWho lineup.
the shirt is front only...
If you think Eddie doesn’t seem too broken up about leaving LA, think again. Why could he be(or at least try to be) calmer than you think he should be?
He doesn’t like the situation any more than Buck does, but he has to keep himself in check. Potentially, because he doesn’t want Buck to spiral even more. He might be trying to stay composed for the both of them as not to put too much on Buck.
Maybe, if he convinces his family(the 118) that he’s ok with the decision he had to make, he will actually accept that he has to leave. Leaving isn’t what he wants, it’s what he needs to do. He wants and needs to be a parent to Christopher, but he doesn’t want to move. He’s conflicted so showing that he is sure about the choice he made might make him believe that he made the right decision. So he’s trying to convince himself and everyone else that he’s doing well.
His main goal is to repair his relationship with Chris. Being grim definitely wouldn’t be a positive sign for his son and there’s no way he isn’t a little excited about going to Texas. After all he hasn’t seen Christopher in a while so he might be staying more or less positive for him.
There’s a multitude of reasons why people behave the way they do. Even tho Eddie’s not a real person, treating him as one could make his actions easier to understand. If you think I’m reading too much into it or that he’s not that nuanced I don’t care
