If you’ve never heard this version before, be prepared for a minor shock… ;) The original album track remixed by Rollo Armstrong became a true dance hit in the States, and, ironically, Suede’s biggest ever US chart success, peaking at #26 on the Club Play charts and #29 on the Hot Dance charts. Rollo’s Radio Edit was the opening track on the US released Everything Will Flow CD single, followed by twice that long Rollo’s Vocal Mix and Rollo’s Dub Mix, only then the original album version, and finally, seemingly chosen at random, Weight of the World, Leaving and Bored. The single was Suede’s 1st US single since Stay Together, and only their 3rd overall.

Here it is, followed by Down, as part of an acoustic set performed in the Maida Vale studios and broadcast live on BBC Radio 1 on 9 August 1999. Don’t miss Neil’s backing vocals, which are quite special, and add even more charm to this beautiful recording.
