how did nostalgia ultra change your life? in what way?

i see the world in a whole new light. never thought i could be so intertwined with music. never knew i could relate to a thing so closely. i spent a lot of depressed days holding on to nostalgia ultra. countless nights strawberry swing on repeat was the only calming thing that could put me to sleep.

this may sound a bit dramatic, but its the truth.

i fell in love with this music before i even knew what frank ocean looked like. 

then finally reading his thoughts on tumblr, and watching him speak in interviews sailed the ship for me. he is just as great as the music that he makes, so raw, so untainted.

What would be your advice for those who want to make a blog for OF and Frank like I?

My advice would be to just be you. If you want a successful blog, be respectful to your followers, but still remain true to yourself. Post what you want. If someone asks you a question, do your research. Don’t just say what you think. Get help when you need it, if you can’t run things alone anymore. I’ve been through a lot of trial and error with this blog. I have been rude to people before. I have done half-assed answers. I have needed help with this blog before. I’ve done it all.

But through it all, give credit to others when it is due.

Admit when you are wrong

And remember.  it’s just a fucking blog.

you aint getting paid for this shit.

I know im one of many..but id like to share how much of an impact Frank has had on my life. I know its not much, but his attitude based on how much he's achieved is my inspiration. I want to be like him in the aspect that hes done so much but is just like "its nothin" As well as all that, his music is so angelic and calming it really just makes me genuinely happy and sad (but in a good way lmao). I love him!!

nostalgia ultra changed my life forever. i will never be the same again.

Why does frank rarely tour the US :(

Well on his very first tour in 2011 he performed in New York, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. 

In 2012 he toured in Seattle, San Fran, Austin and Dallas TX, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Boston, Philly and DC.

He also played and various music festivals including Coachella 2012 and Jazz Fest 2013
