You beat us 3-0 I wouldn't call that wiping the floor with us. A proper defeat yes, but not a thrashing. Now South Africa Vs Trinidad and Tobago now THERE was some floor wiping. I mean bloody 'ell 16-0!! That's a bloody Rugby Score!

I also wouldn't be so Cocksure. I'm thinking England have in them for Silver or Bronze - we've never won Gold and I can't see us winning it with the accuracy we've been showing. As stated previously. 

You've scored more goals than South Africa, New Zealand and India it's true - but you've had a pretty easy group. England were really you're only real rival and considering you're second in the world, I saw you coming out top of the group and inevitability you did. 

Never underestimate New Zealand. They're up above us in the rankings and they'll have a bit more to prove against you. I'm predicting South Africa, New Zealand and England to go through as well as you. Those aren't going to be easy battles. 

By all means, go for Gold. But don't underestimate your opponents. New Zealand really held their own against the Netherlands when I saw them play in 2012 - losing out only on the shoot out. Netherlands then went on to beat Argentina and win the Gold. 

I'm saying you're Good! I would have liked England to score but, hey I'm English-Irish* so of course I want us to do well. 

I'm not saying you can't do it. Just don't be so cocksure my friend ;) 

If it's one thing I've learnt in my 10 years of Hockey, it's never underestimate the opposition. ;)

*Republic of Ireland aren't in the Commonwealth and anyway we've got Hurling and Camogie - which is faster and more dangerous so why bother with hockey? ;)
