people always want to blame owl. it's always owl's fault, even if it isn't.

I’ve seen people saying everything from “the reason there’s no game balance or lore content because they’re investing the money in OWL merch” (so, like how they switched jersey suppliers to produce more expensive jerseys at lower quality?) to “OWL directly caused Activision-Blizzard’s bad management practices” (what?? that?? makes no sense??)

People genuinely say that OWL is stealing the money for lore. That OWL is what caused a shift in corporate culture. That OWL is what ate all the paychecks of the people who got laid off.

When, really, the changes are traced directly to a shift in upper management like over the past year—and OWL is one of the divisions most visibly suffering under the shift.

But, hey, why blame corporate greed and the twenty people at the top! Let’s just blame esports because we don’t like esports—even as the support staff for OWL, OWC, OWWC, and HotS in the past and SC2 and everyone all get laid off because they’re deemed non-essential because they aren’t core operations or development.

It’s absolutely nonsensical. People think they’re defending the people who got laid off without understanding who exactly got laid off or understanding WHY this actually happened. And it’s literally because corporate looked at historic highs and was not satisfied. It’s literally corporate greed. Blizzard is NOT operating at a loss! Why act like OWL is eating all the money!

But whatever. Blame one of the divisions taking the cuts for causing the cuts. That makes sense.

bc i need to know about my daughter-in-law, is there anywhere in skyrim that inien would absolutely refuse to go to. like put her foot down, use her wife privilege to never set foot in there (aside from like. the bog standard caves etc)

tbh out of the holds, i’m betting inien wouldn’t want to visit really any of the smaller ones. falkreath is okay, since i’m betting she’d like siddgeir well enough, but morthal and dawnstar are on thin fucking ice!!! i also think she’d flat out refuse to go to windhelm, even if it’s a major city. fuck that place. until the civil war is over, of course.

I'm personally waiting on trying to find out more about the history between Mercy and Moira, and what their dynamic might've been like. I think it's rather strange that for these two to have a significant bit of history together but only one in-game conversation.

Though, I personally don’t think Mercy and Moira ever worked as closely as much of the fandom does. I tend to think they were icy colleagues who worked in different departments and that, say, McCree has more personal history with Moira than Mercy does.

Mercy and Moira not having a lot of significant dialogue together is sort of par for the course. Even after we learned Genji was working specifically under Blackwatch with the Uprising event, he and McCree continued to have only the one dialogue bantering about whether Genji can move faster than a bullet until only very recently. (If one counts Retribution, that still took a year.) Ana and McCree still have only the one exchange between them.

my favourite oc is named anja, she was originally my revan (from kotor) but then i developed her own universe! 

she’s a 6″3 tall bi woman who loves her husband a lot. she has 5 daughters as well!

she’s a powerful magic user who has telepathic and psychic abilities. she can read minds and sort of enter them as well. she also has super strength. 

she’s not human and maybe a little bit immortal. she doesn’t need to eat or sleep bc her body generates enough energy. 

she’s a part of this alien race that is made up of crystals the absorb energy and magic so that’s why ^^ in simplest terms her mother an “angel” and her father is a “demon”

so that’s why shes sort of messed up. 

she used to be a high ranking military commander but after a plot to assassinate her she left.

she married the man that tried to assassinate her. (it’s complicated)

her husband (garrett) was “killed” and believed dead for 15 years. turns out he was just in prison n she goes to rescue him 💕

she’s a women with a lot of guilt. for the people she;s killed, what happened to her husband, and just a lot of other stuff. 

she’s a very loving mother. she’s bad with people, doesn’t like to talk much but she has a motherly aura. 

anyways, i love her a lot!
