My last cycle lasted a little over a month. It was...a nightmare. It just kept going, holy crap. So, I have learned that it is a side effect to cause “excessive bleeding.” If you get the shot too soon it can cause more bleeding, and it all just comes down to your hormones in the end. Which I think is fancy doctor talk for “We don’t know how it will react with everyone so let’s find out.” Still easier for me than taking a pill every day because I often forget.... And when I’m not on my cycle I’m not in as much pain. Its just the bleeding. I’m so over this bleeding thing.
