So my period ended up lasting 85 days. Thatās...a long fucking time. And maybe, at most, three weeks later another period has started, and it is hella heavy. Iām bleeding through those super absorbent foam pads, staining my underwear left and right, and its just been a nightmare. And to top that off, I do have another cyst my doctor is now concerned about. I go back in a month to have it checked. My doctor says it is possible some of my symptoms are withdrawal symptoms from the Depo, but she suspects that most arenāt, so thatās a happy fun time thing there. I got the IUD put in, but I went into it believing she was going to use anesthesia due to the position of my uterus and her wanting to be sure everything was fine. Iām assuming it was because she was behind on appointments, yesterday she goesĀ āOh, I said I would try the normal way first, and if that didnāt work, thenĀ use anesthesia.ā Bitch, no you did not say that. Thatās why I requested off work, had my fiance there waiting, and didnāt freaking eat anything for 12 hours. I wouldnāt do that if I knew you were going to justĀ ātryā the normal way first. Eff that. And theyāre not kidding about how painful it is to get. Fucking hell it still hurts.
