Beyond Good & Evil 2 will not be in E3 2017, says Michel Ancel.

Beyond Good & Evil 2, continuation of the classic Ubisoft game, should not be shown at E3 2017, the world's largest gaming fair.

In the comments of a photo on his Instagram, the creator of the game, Michel Ancel, confirmed the absence. "I do not know if E3 would be the best place to show BG & E2, but we're working on the game, so you should hear something from the game later this year," he wrote.

In limbo for years, BG & E2 had its development resumed in October. The game still has no release forecast or consoles, but there are rumors that it can be released on the Nintendo Switch with exclusivity of one year.

The sequel to the Ubisoft game was announced in 2008 and since then few details have been revealed about the game. Over the years, Ancel founded an independent studio called the Wild Sheep Studio, and the French publisher even claimed that Ancel was no longer involved in the sequel.

Ubisoft Montpellier is the studio responsible for Ghost Recon: Wildlands and worked on Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, two titles starring another character created by Ancel.
