Y/n looked around as she stepped into what used to be Rockstar Row, stepping over the knocked over statues and boxes and trash while she made her way to the doors that led to the maintenance tunnels. As her eyes landed on the doors, Y/n started remembering when she took Bonnie down and they found Foxy after searching for hours on end. A heavy breath escaped out of Y/n’s system as she looked around and listened carefully to her surroundings, having the sneaking suspicion that lingered in the back of her mind.
While Y/n was walking through the destruction of Rockstar Row, she blinked and her entire vision changed, showing purple outlines of objects and lines going over everything. The new sight startled Y/n, causing her to stumble back and trip back on the broken statue behind her. When her back hit the ground, Y/n grunted and let her eyes flutter close for a moment while she gathered her composure. “Okay, so I was probably put into a suit that has upgrades or a different system from the others. That’s all.” Y/n told herself before opening her eyes and looking at the ceiling while she glanced around with the new eyesight ability she had discovered.
After getting used to it, Y/n climbed to her feet and looked down at the outline of the statue of Freddy, frowning a little and feeling a pain in her chest cavity, missing Freddy now that she was thinking about how long it may have been from when she was stuffed into the suit she was now inhabiting to now, probably years later after something unfortunate happened to cause the Pizzplex to shut down. Y/n shook herself out of her thoughts and frowned at herself for reminiscing at the moment. “Back to finding Roxy and Freddy and hopefully Bonnie and Foxy too.” Y/n reminded herself before approaching the doors to the maintenance tunnels and finding them to be stuck. ‘Dammit. Can’t use them.’ she shook her head before turning and looking around for another way to exit the corridor.
It took a little while to get the layout figured out again, but Y/n managed to find her way out of Rockstar Row and through to another part of the Plex. Y/n froze when she noticed that she had found her way to Bonnie Bowl, left how it was before with more garbage and destruction all over the place. “Please let Bonnie be here.” she muttered to herself before moving through the bowling alley until it opened up to the lanes and there was less everything. ‘If I were Bonnie, where would I go in my attraction?’ Y/n asked herself before looking around and spotting a group of mini DJ MM bots. They were scattering all over the place but the ones that caught her attention the quickest was a line of bots moving towards the back part behind where the pins would be set up on the lanes. ‘Why are they going back there?’ Y/n thought as she followed behind the last bot to the back room.
The back room was quite clean despite the bowling alley being abandoned long before the plex was ever closed, like someone or something was keeping this place occupied. As Y/n walked through the backroom, she spotted a few of the floor sign bots sitting around in the back and when she lifted her head, a sharp gasp left her exhausts when her eyes landed on the sight of Bonnie lying on the floor, a bowling ball split in three, a large chunk of casing missing from Bonnie’s head and a large gash in her chest cavity. When Y/n noticed that Bonnie’s eyes were glowing, she relaxed and looked at the floor sign bots surrounding him.
‘Maybe he’s still functioning.’ Y/n thought, approaching the damaged animatronic and kneeling down. The floor sign bots backed up so that she had space to lift Bonnie up until he was sitting up and one moved to hold him up. His eyes blinked a couple of times before he looked at the bots around him, bringing his hand to his head where the gash was. “Gah, my head.” he muttered, closing his eyes before looking around and spotting Y/n.
“Y/n?” he asked.
Y/n gave a bashful smile to the bunny and helped him to his feet before wrapping his arm around her neck so he could be supported by her.
“What happened to you?” Bonnie asked. Y/n looked at the floor, figuring that none of them would remember what happened since they were being controlled when it happened.
“It’s a long story that I’ll tell you when I find Foxy, Roxy and Freddy.” Y/n explained, helping Bonnie walk out of the backroom before sitting him down in a chair in the dining area. Upon the mention of Freddy’s name, Bonnie’s eyes widened and he shook his head quickly.
“No, no, no. Don’t find Freddy.” Bonnie said quickly.
“What? Why?” Y/n asked, feeling her brows furrowed together at the rabbit’s strange reaction to his former friend’s name.
Bonnie stayed silent before pulling up a security cart that allowed camera’s to function in the area. It took him a few minutes of searching and winding through but Bonnie pulled up security footage from a night that seemed to be a cleaner plex than now. Through the cams, there was a headless figure stalking around, the stomach cavity making growling and grumbling sounds. “Freddy isn’t who we thought he was after Gregory left.” Bonnie explained, pulling up previous footage from the bowling alley.
Y/n watched as the headless Freddy stalked around, grabbed a bowling ball and moved towards the backroom, where Bonnie was. Y/n gasped and flinched upon seeing her former lover bash his friend’s head in with a bowling ball before leaving him to help himself with the floor sign bots. “No.” she muttered, not wanting to believe that it was truly Freddy doing all of that. Bonnie stayed silent and watched Y/n with sadness in his eyes. “This is not the first time he’s done this either. In the beginning, it was me, Chica, Freddy and Roxy. Monty was a side character in the golf course and he admired me. But Freddy didn’t like that. He didn’t like that I stepped down and gave my place to Monty so he could shine in the spotlight. Freddy thought it was stupid. I don’t know what came over him or if I was his intended target but he came and attacked me the night I stepped down.” Bonnie explained.
“I can’t believe that Freddy would do this.” Y/n felt her systems overworking themselves, simulating a panic in her new body. Bonnie stood and hugged Y/n to provide comfort to her, feeling her body trembling and shaking in his grasp. “Maybe he wasn’t in control. That has to be it! Freddy would never do that to his friends.” Y/n tried to think up different possibilities that would cause Freddy to attack Bonnie, twice.
After a little while of being comforted by Bonnie, Y/n took a deep breath and looked at him, giving an appreciative smile to the rabbit. “Thanks Bon.” she said softly before looking at the security cart and frowned a little more. “Come on, let’s see if we can’t find Roxy somewhere.” Y/n said, putting Bonnie’s arm around her neck so she could support him while walking him out of the bowling alley. It was silent between the two animatronics until they got to Rockstar Row and Y/n sat Bonnie down on a crate of sorts. Chica and Monty hurried over upon seeing Y/n and Bonnie emerging from the doorway. “Oh my god, Bon? What happened to you?” Monty asked while Chica smothered Bonnie in kisses all of his face.
“Long story short, Freddy isn’t himself.” Y/n answered for the rabbit while his girlfriend looked him over at the damage that was done to him.
“Not again.” Monty muttered, shaking his head before crawling away. Y/n watched him for a little while before digging through some of the rubble and pulling up some tools that were left lying about the floor.
“Okay, let’s see what we can do to fix you up.” Y/n said, looking at Monty again and holding up the tools before gesturing to his legs, which she found when she was roaming the other world in Monty Golf.
It took a little while to figure it out and remember everything but eventually, Y/n remembered how to repair the animatronics and reattached Monty’s legs to his torso. “There we go. Looking better already.” Y/n said enthusiastically as she stepped back and watched as Monty stood up and shook his legs a bit before moving his tail and smiling in relief. When he looked back at Y/n, he stood there for a little while before embracing Y/n in a tight, appreciative hug, causing Y/n to giggle and wiggle in his arms. “Monty!” she smiled up at him before looking over at Chica and Bonnie to see how the rabbit was holding up.
“I hope there’s a way to return things to normal.” Y/n muttered to herself as she watched the couple catch up with each other.
