Let Me Go!
Vanessa and Gregory continue sprinting around the pizzaplex with separate missions. But let's just say...Placing a mischievous, gremlin child onto your shoulder is not recommended.
Part 2 of "Leave Me Be!".
This fanfic sequel was suggested by 3 people: Toasted bread, monkeyseatcheese, and Fnaffan (Hahaha- Wtf are these names?! I love them!). I hope you all enjoy this rare FNAF fanfic sequel!
[Gregory widened his eyes. “You…You said you would leave me be.” Gregory told her. “You promised.”
“Again, I said I would let you go. And I would leave you be…for now.” Vanessa added with a smirk. “Meaning I can still capture you a little bit later and tickle the shhhhhh- heck out of you.” Vanessa said.
Gregory bit his lip. “………You’ll have to catch me first…” Gregory added.
Vanessa giggled as her mouth got closer to the fazwatch’s mic. “Challenge. Accepted.”]
Gregory had been sprinting for a good 20 minutes. He moved through the many twists and turns of the Pizzaplex, and ran across the main food court. He was determined to make Vanessa run for as long as possible. He didn’t wanna be caught yet. He wanted a few good minutes of peace.
But unfortunately, that peace was never going to come for him…Because the moment he turned past the cupcake station, he saw a hungry Chica walking nearby! She looked to be eating all the cupcakes that came down the conveyor belt. In fact, each cupcake seemed to be devoured in 1-2 bites each. Just in the time Gregory had found her, she had eaten 6 cupcakes in 8 minutes.
But as much as Gregory wanted to watch her eat cupcakes, he had to find a way to sneak past her. If she saw him while he snuck away, Chica would surely abandon the cupcakes and chase him down. Though he knew she loved food, he also knew Chica was a determined animatronic hellbent on capturing the missing child.
Gregory narrowed his eyes and began to sneak his way past the station. He hid in front of the cupcake station, and slowly crawled on the floor, going the opposite way of the conveyor belt. The cupcakes continued to be moved to Chica, while Chica devoured each one without any knowledge of Gregory’s presence. But as much as Gregory wanted to get past…It was hard to say no to grabbing a cupcake…
So, as he snuck past the front of the conveyor belt, Gregory quickly snatched a cupcake without Chica’s knowing. With that done, Gregory quickly pulled the paper off the cupcake, and sunk his teeth into it as he took off. He knew he shouldn’t be running while eating. His mother had told him this countless times. But honestly in his mind, there’s worse things to do. Like, you know, sneakily staying inside a Pizzaplex way past midnight. That’s so much worse than eating while running!
Gregory took the last bite of his cupcake and quickly threw the paper onto the floor. He picked up his face, thankful for the little sugar boost the cupcake had given him. Gregory ran down the halls, towards the Chica shop. There, it had lots of merchandise. Surely the security guard would be anywhere but there, right?
Oh, but Gregory was wrong! Super wrong! Cause the moment his shoes skidded across the tile, he saw the dreaded security guard standing right outside the merch shop! AND HE’S ABOUT TO SLIDE RIGHT INTO HER! OHGODNO!
“Gotcha, little runner.” Vanessa held him up by his shirt once again, leaving him flailing. “Planning on stealing a few toys? I don’t think so.” She asked next.
“NO!” Gregory yelped, “I wasn’t gonna steal anything!”
“Ooooh, I see. So you were gonna hide in here?” She asked, bringing him slightly closer. “Is that it?”
“No way!” Gregory blatantly lied.
“Hmmm…Well, maybe you’re partly right. You did slide right into me just like that.” She admitted.
“No I didn’t!” Gregory yelled.
“Oh you didn’t? Then how’d you end up in my hand, then?” She asked with a little inquisitive smirk on her face.
“YOU GRABBED ME!” Gregory yelled.
“I grabbed you after you slid towards me!” She declared. “You know what this means?” She asked slyly.
“No!” Gregory ordered. “It means you’re mine now!” She lifted Gregory up over her head, and sat him down on her shoulders. “There.” She declared.
“What- Oh come on!” Gregory whined.
“What? Can’t handle heights?” She teased.
“Let me go!” Gregory tried tickling her neck. But to his surprise, she didn’t flinch or jump.
“Oh yeah, right! My neck isn’t ticklish. So have fun with that.” She told him.
Gregory grumbled and tried tickling her underarms.
“Hey- no. You tickle me, and we’ll end up hurting each other.” She warned.
Gregory grumbled again. As much as he wanted to get away from her…She was right. Tickling her while he’s on her shoulders, would just make her fall, and make him fall even farther down. The stupid security guard had him stuck here, with no way out. Meaning there was nothing he could do. He just had to take it.
“Now: Where were we?” It took only a second or two for her to begin her revenge plan. With Gregory’s knees forcefully kept open with her shoulders, Vanessa decided to try there. She fluttered her gentle nails against his kneepits, waiting for a response.
And the security guard didn’t need to wait long at all! Because Gregory’s leg instinctively kicked and tensed. “eEEP!” He squeezed his eyes shut. “No! Hahaha- Stahp!” Despite covering his mouth, snickers still kept pushing past his defenses.
“Stop what?” Vanessa adjusted her hands so she was holding onto Gregory’s outer knees. “I’m just holding onto you so you don’t fall.” With his knees stuck,Vanessa snuck her thumbs under his knees and dug slightly roughly into the kneepits.
“WAHAITNO!” Gregory shrieked. “STAHAPSTOPSTOP!” Gregory’s head flipped back. “GAHA! HAHAHAHA!”
“Geez, kid! I’m barely touching you!” She reacted.
“IHIHI KNOHOHOHOW!” Gregory yelled back.
“Have you always been this ticklish?” She asked him curiously.
“YEHEHEHES! HAHAHA- ALWAHAHAYS!” He shouted back to her.
“Oh, well ain’t that a shame?” She said with a smirk.
Gregory kicked his feet a little bit, as if it would stop her ticklish fingers.
But when his heel kicked back into her chest, Vanny yelped and stumbled. “WhaOA- Careful kid!” She reacted, stopping momentarily to get her balance back.
Gregory stopped kicking momentarily. Just for that moment, he feared he may have hurt Vanny. But that fear only lasted seconds before breathing a sigh of relief. She wasn’t hurt. He didn’t kick her too hard. She just kicked her enough to slightly adjust her footing. She was safe for now, which meant he wasn’t gonna fall.
Wait a second! Why is he worried about hurting her?! This is a security guard! She’s gonna kick him out of the pizzaplex, and away from Freddy! She doesn’t deserve his worry! Not even close!
Gregory started kicking all over again. “LET ME GO!” He shouted loudly.
“OHGOD-” Vanessa could feel her feet stumbling! Come on, Van! Fix your feet! Right foot, left foot. Leaning over? Lean on the foot! This kid is like, 60 or 70 pounds. Surely she can adjust herself to prevent dropping the child! But at the same time…The kid kinda started this whole problem…So if she falls, that’s this kid’s fault.
“VANNY!”
The kid’s voice suddenly pushed her out of her thoughts! “What-?!” Vanessa shouted back. Now out of her thoughts, she could feel herself falling to the ground! OH GOD NO!
CRASH! CLANG-BONG!
“Uuuuugh…” She slowly lifted her head up and rubbed it. She looked around, and noted the couple things in front of her:
There’s a table…Maybe the table she fell into? That makes sense.
There’s several chairs spewed about…She probably crashed into those too.
And there’s-
OH GOD!
“GREGORY!” Vanessa sprinted to Gregory and lifted his head up. “Are you okay?!” She yelled. “Gregory!” She opened his eye, to see if his eyes were reacting to the light. Thankfully, she saw his eye dilating upon seeing the light of the pizzaplex. So he was still conscious.
Gregory’s other eye slowly began to open. “Owwww…”
Seeing Gregory’s eyes open gave her a huge sense of relief. The kid was not only conscious, but awake. “Oh thank god…” Vanessa started checking his arms. “What hurts?”
Gregory looked down at his shoulders. “My arm…” He lifted it up to show her.
“Can I check it for you?” She asked him.
“Uh…” Gregory sighed and looked up at Vanessa. “I guess?” He lifted his arm up slightly.
With his permission, Vanessa took a moment to check his arm for scrapes, bruises, and/or fractures. Though she did have her CPR certificate, she couldn’t fully remember all her training. All she wanted to do was make sure he didn’t have a broken arm.
Gregory watched her bend and adjust his arm. She was being so gentle with it…It kind of surprised him. It was weird seeing her go from ‘ready to kick me to the curb’ to ‘kind and gentle like a big sister’. It was almost shocking. In the end, she put his arm down. “Your arm looks fine.”
Gregory let out a long, relieving breath. Okay, good. “Thank you.” Gregory told her.
“No problem, kid.” She got up. “So: Are you ready to head home?” She asked.
Gregory groaned and threw his head back. “No!” He whined. He could not believe she was still determined to make him leave.
“Well, you need to go. The pizzaplex is closed for the night, and it’s company policy to alert the police if anyone is found, regardless of how old they are.” Vanessa explained.
“Ugh…Do you even listen to all that stuff?” Gregory asked.
Vanessa rolled her eyes. “Yup…Funnily enough, I do.” She admitted.
Gregory groaned again. “So stupid…” He muttered aloud.
Like many children, his agitation was super evident. This only made Vanessa laugh a little. “Do you realize how bad your poker face is?” She asked him.
Gregory’s face softened slightly. “Poker face? What’s that?” Gregory asked.
Vanessa sighed. “A poker face is just a fancy word for a face with no expression. Almost like a bored face.” She tried explaining. “Like, imagine making a bored face.” She told him.
Gregory tried to make himself look bored. But his bored face looked…more annoyed than anything. Rather than looking like he had nothing to do, he looked like he wanted to complain about being bored, but wasn’t allowed to.
“That’s…not a poker face. That’s a grumpy face.” She told him.
Gregory rolled his eyes. “You told me to look bored.” He argued.
“Yeah, looking bored usually doesn’t make you look grumpy.” Vanessa let him know.
Gregory sighed. “Well, most of the time I’m grumpy when I’m bored.” Gregory explained.
Vanessa sighed. “Whatever. Anyway…” She looked at the door. “I need to call the police.” Vanessa told him. She pulled out her phone and dialed the number.
Much to no one’s surprise, Gregory thought he had an opening. So, he started sprinting away.
But Vanessa had grabbed his shirt as he started to run. “Nope.” Vanessa said, making sure to keep him close.
“Hey!” Gregory grumbled.
“You’re not going anywhere, so long as I’m here.” She held the phone up to her ear, and waited for the phone to start ringing. But as it stopped ringing and Vanessa started talking, it started playing the ‘busy’ tone.
[I’m sorry, the number you have dialled is unavailable right now. Please check this number and try again.] The automated voice spoke to Vanessa.
Vanessa blinked in surprise and looked down at her phone.
[911]
She typed it right, so what’s the problem?
“Let me try this again…” She typed 911 into her phone, and put it up to her ear. She listened to the ringing sound, waiting patiently for it to connect. As soon as it connected, she spoke.
“Hello-”
[I’m sorry, the number you have dialled is unavailable right now. Please check this number and try again.] The automated voice spoke up again.
Vanessa grumbled and lowered her phone. “What the hell?!” She growled. Gregory could be seen smirking. “Uh oh! Look who’s angry now?” He teased.
“Shut up, kid.” She muttered.
“Aww, poor Vanessa.” Gregory cooed.
“Shut up!” She yelled at him.
“Or what?” Gregory shot back with a giggle.
“I swear to- HEYNO!” Vanessa tensed her arm against her side. “No tickling!” She ordered.
Gregory stared at her, before slowly looking at her armpit.
“Gregory…” She warned.
His smirk slowly grew, as his hand got slightly closer.
“Gregory NO!” She shouted.
“I’m not touching you~” He sing-songed.
“Gregory stop!” She yelled.
“IIII’m not touching youuu~” He teased further.
“Gregory-” Vanessa squealed and instinctually squeezed his fingers into her armpit. “STOP!”
“Sorry, what?” Gregory’s smirk grew as a forced smile filled her face. “Can’t hear you.” Gregory declared to him.
“GREHEGORY!” She felt her grip on Gregory lighten as he weaseled his fingers further into her armpit.
“Yeeeessss?” Gregory cooed. “Is something wrong?” He asked in a sly voice.
“STAHAHAP IHIT!” She yelled.
“Stop what? I’m not doing anything.” He declared calmly…Too calmly.
“YOHOHOU’RE SOHOHO MEEHEHEAN!” She spat at him.
“What are you talking about?! I’m not mean!” Gregory argued. “I’m just trying to free myself.”
Even though it had only been a few minutes, Vanessa could already feel her knees weakening. Desperate to stop the tickles, she let go of Gregory and dropped to her knees. “Okahahay! Ihihi lehet you gohoho!” She declared.
But to her shock…Gregory wasn’t done yet. The wild boy only slid closer to her, and started tickling her in every little tickle spot he could find. He was effectively wrecking her by this point, and she couldn’t do very much to stop it. Anything she tried, only risked her hurting Gregory again. Though she knew the previous injury wasn’t her fault, she still didn’t wanna risk another injury on the boy. The boy only looks to be about 9 to 10 years old…which is still quite young to her. So to prevent another injury, she let him go wild.
“Ohohokahahahay! Okahahayokay- Yohohou gohot meee!” She yelled to him.
“Want me to stop?” He asked almost genuinely.
“Yehehes! Yehes yes pleehehehease!” She yelled out.
“Then you gotta promise me something…For REAL, this time.” Gregory warned.
“Whahahat?” She asked.
“You gotta leave me alone until morning comes.” Gregory ordered her.
“Nohohoho wahahay!” She argued.
“Alright, so tickles it is!” Gregory declared.
“NOHOHO- BAHAHAHA!” Vanessa squeaked and covered her belly, to no avail. Gregory just kept on getting the right spots to push her buttons! “STAHAHAHAP PLEEEHEEHEHEHEASE!” She pleaded.
“Only if you agree to the promise!” Gregory sing-songed.
“SEHEHERIOUSLYHYHY?!” She yelled.
“Yup! Seriously!” Gregory responded like it was the most obvious thing.
“COHOHOME OHOHOHON!” She hid her face in her arm. “THIHIHIS IHIHISN’T FAHAHAIR!” She whined.
“Well of course it’s not fair! You’re not agreeing to my promise!” Gregory responded.
“SHUHUHUT UHUP!” Vanessa shouted back.
“Well, that’s not very nice…” Gregory looked at her knees for a moment, before looking at Vanessa. “Looks like I gotta up the antics!” He declared.
“noOO!” Vanessa managed to grab one of his arms. But unfortunately, Vanessa was still quite weak from all the tickles! So, Gregory had no problem still reaching her kneepits. And good lord! “eEEEEK! FUCKFUCK-!!” Vanessa shouted.
Gregory widened his eyes. Holy crap! If she’s swearing, then this spot must be REALLY bad! Not only that, but she’s not even kicking him! How is that even possible?!
“GREHEHEHEGORYYYYY!” She shouted at him. Gregory was shocked. It didn’t take long at all for her to start cackling her lungs out.
“Jeez…” Gregory muttered. “You may not last much longer if you keep this up.” He warned him.
“NOHOHO SHIHIHIHIT!” Vanessa yelled.
“Then do you promise to leave me alone till morning?” Gregory asked one last time.
By this point, Vanessa couldn’t take it anymore. “YEHEHES! IHIHIHI PROMIHIHISE!” She shouted back.
“Okay, good.” Gregory’s fingers immediately slipped away. Her laughter quickly began to die down, and exhaustion almost immediately overwhelmed her. She was super thankful that the tickling was over with…but good god, that kid was brutal.
“N…Note…to self…” Vanessa started trying to say. “D-Don’t…mess…with you…Ever…” She muttered aloud.
Gregory smiled and booped Vanessa’s nose. “Good thinking.” With that, Gregory hopped up onto his feet. “See ya!” He declared as he skipped off in some other direction. Vanessa was left to her own devices, trying to recover from the onslaught, while trying to come to terms with the promise she agreed to. Leave the kid alone till morning?! That’s a terrible promise! What if she gets in trouble from her boss? What if she’s fired for keeping a kid in the pizzaplex? Or worse…What if she’s framed for kidnapping?!
“You don’t look so good…” Someone spoke up above her.
Vanessa looked up, and softened her fear once she realized who it was. “Hi Chica.” She said. “I’m okay. Don’t worry, okay?” She told her.
“Your heart appears to be slowing. Were you sprinting?” Chica asked.
Vanessa chuckled. “In a way, yeah…” She admitted.
Chica tilted her head. “What do you mean ‘in a way’?” She asked.
“Don’t worry about it.” Vanessa got herself onto her feet, and turned on her flashlight. “Thanks for the help, Chica.” She told her, before continuing her shift.
With Vanessa gone, Chica stood there for a few more moments, just trying to understand what the security guard may have meant by ‘in a way’...and with no one to help her, Chica would likely remain completely in the dark.
