I don’t think evil ghosts are all necessarily evil though. I’m convinced most of them they were victims of something terrible and are not quite aware they’re dead and when they see a person they go to the person seeking help but they are ignored so they get desperate and start doing drastic things to get our attention so we can help them.

Danny Phantom AU Idea

I was just watching Mystery Meat when this idea popped into my head:

What if Danny was never entirely human?

I mean, what if he was born as a halfa, but yet, there's no reason why he was born that way (or maybe it could have something to do with the Fenton's working with ectoplasm or a prophecy???).

Anyways, the Fentons would know that Danny's a halfa if their equipment starts working on Danny (yes, they won't be that obilivious in this AU).

Fearing that Danny's ghost half may start turning him evil (for they still believe that most ghosts are evil and they also saw it happening to Vlad), they came up with an antibotic to keep his ghost half dormant inside his core. It's like a flu shot that you take every year.

However, after 14 years of being injected with this, Danny's ghost half has now grown immune to the botic's affects, and starts showing itself once the Fentons had finished building a working portal.

Being the Danny that we all know, he tries his best to keep this new 'problem' to himself until his parents found him stuck halfway into his bedroom.

Of course they would freak out and help their child. This is when Danny tells them about what's happening to him - and out of guilt, his parents told him the truth of his species.

Okay, so this is as far as I've gotten, but I'm pretty sure that I can see Danny running away and his parents going after him, only for some ghost to come and harm someone and for him to come back to save the day and realize that maybe this could work out. And somehow, with the help of his family and friends, Danny could continue to fight ghosts (and Vlad) from destroying stuff, etc. etc.

I'm sort of basing Vlad's personality during the end of the series and also keeping in mind that most ghosts are evil, Vlad would let his ghost half's power influence his thoughts and actions - which would sometimes happen to Danny too.

Mind you, this is just an AU idea that just popped into my head, so there's still plenty of holes.
