The Ouija Coin--said to bring answers from Ghosts? Does this work? Whats next--using a Magic Eight ball to investigate haunted sites? Has anyone used these?
In World War II Some women became “Victory Girls” War Groupies who would sleep with all servicemen. Some even tattooed their “victories. Pilots was one ladies choice. Fighter pilots represented by two roosters on the behind. The “wolf trap” seems odd, an unknown rational here but something. Do you know?
The Billiwack Monster
Another eyebrow picture from the 1930s. I like the Cupid’s Bow lips as well and the “Beauty Dot.” They had class then--Now for some color.

My newest work on Sex workers in Old California.
For some reason I think thin eyebrows look sexy on women. Am I the only one. In the 1930s some women even had they tattooed onto their faces. That’s one way to make sure they were drawn on right every time.
Few Ghosts are happy spirits, Moans are more common than laughter.

Silver may well be deadly to werewolves but it seems to attract ghosts. Women who wear a lot of silver jewelry tend to see ghosts!
Ghosts imply a world beyond our psychical dimension. They give hope for a post death existence.

Quotes on Ghost hunting from speeches and classes I have given over the years.
Ghosts are common at the Olivas Adobe
Lights went on and off without human agency, Cupboards opened by themselves, people felt touched, lamps swung by themselves--I felt I was in an episode of Ghosts on Videotape. I normally poo poo such shows but--here I was in the middle of it. YES the Olivas is Haunted.
OLIVAS ADOBE was built for a large Latino Land owner in 1847. He had lived here since 1841. He was one of the richest men in the district. He and his wife had 21 children. He was a big time Republican after California became part of the United States in 1848 (He liked Lincoln’s stand against slavery). Over the years many died here and this could be why it is so haunted. I believe that the number of sightings, evidence collected from pictures to EVP is enough to call this--a very least--one of the most haunted houses in all California--if not the states west of the Mississippi River.
Zoom in on a ghost figure on the Balcony of the Olivas Adobe. Is it a man? Woman? Man and boy? No one was there at the time and the house locked up.
