In the fight on the roof of the hotel, Lucifer breaks Adam's mask with a punch.

Instead of rushing out to attack Lucifer, a very confused Adam rises from the floor, a bushy beard and disheveled hair are noticeable.

Adam looks around and then sets his eyes on Lucifer: Hi Lu, do you know where I am?

Everyone looks at him very confused, he seems lost like someone who has just come out of a drunken stupor. Disoriented and lost

Taking off his helmet completely, Adam with shoulder-length hair and a beard looks at Lucifer and Charlie: well, can someone tell me why I'm here? The last thing I remember,It was Lilith who wanted to talk to me and then white."

Lucifer looked at Adam's young golden eyes But with the weight of age and that smile, yes that was Adam But who put that helmet on him?

So in essence, Adam's mask has controlled him all this time under Lilith's orders, where she practically made him act the way she always made him believe they acted.

Some songs that would inspire plot points in my fic Redemtion Through Hell.

Nothing Left to Lose would be Lucifer when he realizes Lilith is evil and was always evil.

Hurricane from Death Note could be Lucifer’s thoughts when he first Hell and establishes himself as King of Hell before his depression sets in.

Wait For Me is Eve descending down to Hell to find proof that Adam is actually alive.

The more aggressive tone of Jonathan Young’s take on Poison would be how Adam felt when married to Lilith along with how hiding his pain made he act aggressive and angry towards the Sinners of Hell which led to his fall.

*while Abel was with Eve, Lilith was relaxing on a lovely beach of Heaven and she decided to contact her spy in Hell, she summoned a contact image of Alastor who looked annoyed at being contacted, she was tired of playing second fiddle to Lucifer and wanted to become the supreme ruler of Hell, she made a deal with Alastor to gain more power if he would undermine Lucifer and acted as a bodyguard to Charlie*

Alastor: It is a good thing that I was alone when you contacted me. It would be very suspicious if I had direct contact with the former Queen of Hell.

*Lilith hadn’t being reminded that her divorce with Lucifer removed her title, but no matter, she would have it again soon but by her own actions*

Lilith: No matter, tell me if you found any weaknesses in Lucifer’s armor aside from our daughter. She is to not be involved with this.

Alastor: Of course, your darling husband replaced you with Adam. The First Man is now a Fallen Angel and is madly in love with Lucifer, it is absolutely disgusting.

*Lilith felt rage fill her as she erased the contact image, she stormed to the luxurious beach home given to her and dug through the drawer that she flung Adam’s halo, instead of being dull like it was when Lute brought, it regained the soft golden glow showing he was alive*

Lilith: I am going to kill Adam.

*she decided that she needed to come up with careful plans before acting*
