Pawn kept a keen eye on his transmitter even before the drama with the Ricks began. He made sure he was aware at all times in case something came up, which did him well as he heard the voice on the other end.

The gruff tone was one he knew very well, eyes narrowing as he allowed it through. He chuckled to himself at the words chosen, biting through his annoyance and the slight pang of fear that split through his mind.

"Don't call me kid. And it's interesting to contact me after all the ensuring I've done to be left alone. If I do anything out of self defense, it will be done to all of you." He said sharply, his words crisp.

"I do mind, and he isnt my Rick. I don't have a Rick. I'll give you the chance to rephrase, but choose your words carefully."

Again and again I continue to think I've made myself clear to you people. I've given countless warnings, the chance to back off, yet you still contact in hopes of fulfilling whatever selfish purpose you want to gain.

What I did to Ev is my business. I took care of my problem, and I let him live out of the kindness of my heart.

Unlike yourself and those who share your face, I do not rely only on threats and promise, as I've shown I can and will take care of those who threaten my safety. I can do worse, you two are lucky he's not worse off. I suggest you stop poking around for more.

No. He got what he deserved.

I do not regret what I did to him. I'm disappointed it had to come to that, that he couldn't keep his distance. I'm angry that he couldn't stay dead, I'm sad that he hurt me. But what I did to him was more than justified. He had many opportunities to change his mind and back off, it's unfortunate but not a problem.

What exactly is your past with your Rick? How many Ricks have you had?

It seems like a right time to answer this, though I won't be sharing too many personal details.

My... original Rick, Evil Rick, was my actual grandfather. He hadn't been in most of my life, as he was absent for my m--, my Beth as well, but he was there enough for me to know his face. When I turned 10, he had suggested I work with him on various science projects as I had an interest in it. He moved into our house when I was near 11, claiming issue with his previous homing situation, and that he wanted to spend more time with my sister and I.

After he moved in, like all Mortys, the situation had gotten significantly worse. He had worked to gain enough trust, engaged with my interest in STEM, all to train me to be his sidekick. Looking back, it's truly awful, and angers me for all those who shared my life, yet never got their chance to escape. The abuse I endured isn't something I can really explain without making myself upset, but it is as bad, likely worse, than those who oversee could imagine.

As for other Ricks, my time in the Citadel was... interesting, to say the least. I'm sure those who truly believed in me considered me their Morty, but there isn't much more to say on that. It isn't my tale to tell, at least.
