So, funny story everyone:
I got this message from someone telling me to message them cause they had something important to tell me. So I did, and they send me this. Now, initially, my hearts pounding and I’m like “What the fuck??” Someone is trying to pose as me and scamming people??? From the start, I couldn’t help but find that weird cause I’m not really some big, popular account. But anyways, I tell them how terrible it is that that happened to them. They didn’t tell me who the scammer was, which I did find odd, but I shrugged it off.
I went on Discord and typed out a message for that dude, but just as I was going to send it, I decided to check the account out and I immediately became suspicious cause the account doesn’t credible at all lmao. Like, if you’re some representative for Tumblr on dealing with scams, I expect at least something that showed that. So I decided to google “Tumblrelitucker” and found a link to tumblr to a bunch of people receiving the exact same message and photo.
Lmao I immediately blocked the person and the fcker on discord because I don’t trust it.
However, in the case that there is someone actually pretending to be me and asking for money, please understand that I would NEVER message people asking for money because that’s just not what I do. If you guys ever do come across someone that’s pretending to me and asking for money, report THAT account (not mine lol) and let me know so I can report to customer service or whatever (and not some user on Discord. Maybe he is credible, but alarms were just going off in my head, y’know?).
