Also, there's been something I've been wondering... It's never explicitly stated that Evil Wolverine conscripted Ashura into his evil schemes and ordered him to take in Fai, but if this wasn't the case why did Ashura show up in Valeria? It seemed as though his destiny was intertwined with Fai from the start as his wish was for Fai to kill him all along, but we are never given an exact answer on why he was searching worlds for Fai... Any thoughts? Thanks! ^_^

Unless either Ashura or Evil Wolverine mention they were in cahoots (which they could), I’d suspect they don’t technically have anything to do with each other. 

Evil Wolverine has at least a rough knowledge of ‘The Way The Timeline Goes’ so he is probably aware that Ashura exists and has influence over the way Fai’s life unfolds. 

Ashura is also aware of the curse that Evil Wolverine puts on Fai and is using it to his own advantage. 

But for my current interpretation, I don’t think they ever communicated with each other or plotted how this was going to go. I think Ashura was out there looking for Fai simply because of how strong his magic was. Perhaps he wasn’t even looking for Fai in particular, but was just honing in on any world that had an incredibly strong magic user. Perhaps Fai was the strongest option around, or perhaps he was just the easiest to manipulate. Maybe Ashura was initially drawn to the magic of both twins combined - or maybe it was Evil Wolverine’s curse that drew him to Fai specifically because of how useful that was to Ashura’s plans. 

Either way, I currently read it more as a case of “Incredibly Strong Magic Users Spying on Other Worlds to Manipulate Everything to their Own Ends” rather than them being on the same team, but who knows! There’s always lots of room for interpretation.

I’m excited to find out what Yuuko did. Unless he just means sending them off with Mokona to find the feathers, but that kind of... can’t be it, because he needed that to happen. 

It can’t really be the thing with Ashura and cutting off Evil Wolverine’s ability to watch them either, because LOOK HOW LONG THAT LASTED. LIKE ONE WORLD, IF THAT.

I really want to know. 

I would be satisfied if it was just her dramatically giving him the finger through a protection in her wine glass but somehow I assume it was more than that.

To explain the Wang/Wong thing: Evil Wolverine's name uses the characters 飛 (fēi pronounced fey) and 王 (wáng pronounced wAHng). 飛 means 'fly' and 王 means 'king' and has many romanised spellings. 王 is a very common word and is romanised as Wong, Wang, Ong, Heng, Vong, Ang etc depending on where you come from. (Case in point, 王's in my name as well lol)

THAT WAS SO MUCH QUICKER THAN I WAS EXPECTING.

THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU HAVE FAI AND SYAORAN IN THE SAME PARTY MYSTERY GETS DONE.

Though in the grand scheme of things they know nothing. All they know is that there IS a grand scheme of things, and I don’t think any of them even KNOW who Evil Wolverine is, but at least now they know he exists! Fingers crossed that they figure it out a lot faster than I am expecting them to, BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO BE SAFE AND HAPPY AND NOTHING BAD TO EVER HAPPEN.

Okay, so, Spies confirmed.

Evil Wolverine has agents planted in all the different AUs to both spy on them and also to gently shove events in the direction he wants them to go.

There is no way in hell this is a good thing.

But like, ok. Does he know which worlds they are going to before they do? Does he just have agents everywhere and contacts them when he knows where they’ve showed up? Does he send the agents AFTER they show up? Or does he actually influence where they’re travelling to each time? Because Mokona sure as hell doesn’t know where they’re going.

It’s a little misleading because he calls himself irritated and yet this is EXACTLY what he wanted to happen. Innkeeper was the one who sent them after the feather in the first place, so he WANTS Sakura to get all her feathers back.

But it’s also implied that he sent Kyle there in the first place. So was Kyle just supposed to retrieve the feather and then Evil Wolverine would have planned for it to get to Sakura subtly? Or is he in the business of setting up vilains deliberately to have the Tsubasa family steal the feather from them in the process? If he was responsible for the Ryanban getting the Koryo feather, for instance - which there is no proof for, but IF he did - then he’s basically just ensuring that the feather makes the most impact in each world so that it’s super easy for the Tsubasa family to find and recover. Because otherwise how the hell were they supposed to know the feather was buried beneath a castle.

Unless I’m totally wrong about everything, which is also likely.
