It was an incredibly risky move entering Central City again, even if the attention of the police was momentarily off her thanks to a few other bad actors - she would have to send Mark a gift basket as thank you for his part in the antics. Maybe track down whoever the handsome troublemaker flipping police cars had been too. But Pamela also knew it was a very important day for a certain blonde, and wanted or not, her absence would not be counted in her favour. Even if Harley was still mad at her, she knew not making an appearance would only work against her in the long run of mending things down the line.
“Before you slam the door in my face, at least open what’s in the box.” She told her, holding out the overly-large box, the lid being poked at insistently from the little scamp inside - she had cut plenty of airholes and gave it food and water but apparently the kit was insistent on meeting its new mother and spoiling the surprise. “And please keep it because I really didn’t plan ahead for if you reject it and I have to look after it all by myself.” She tried to play at a casual tone even as nerves wracked through her. She knew leaving like she did left Harley hurt, the fact she hadn’t even intended a proper goodbye in the first place more so. For once, she had no idea how the blonde would react - she was as unpredictable to Pamela as she was everyone else now.
